I personally like the Perun mini. It’s compact design with the magnetic tail fits in tight spaces when I need light in an engine bay. If Trunite made a mini version I’d try it out

Nitecore is one of my preferred brands but I find the turbo modes of most models struggle. Some dropping as fast as 7 seconds in the case of the tiny monster.

Fyi, left/right movement is pan; up/down movement is tilt.

That sucks to see that nitecore lose its turbo that fast...was thinking of checking that one out until that. I do have both other ones though and it seems like my th30 doesn't last as long as they say either but lasts longer than that nitecore. Use the perun and perun 2 all the time. Good video.

I think the best light Is nitecore hc33 lighter in weight and the throw is even further and distance it better. No way would I ever want to carry this heavy headlamp. If the hc 35 had clear lens I would have bought the hc35 ,so Nitetcore screwed up really, that light would have been better all around....
