Good choices. I'm generally not a cycle lover, but the two you note are excellent. I consider that Furtwängler 4th to be a genuine classic.

I agree with your choises completely. But for me the cycle that equalles the two you mentioned is: Kubelik with the BPO on DG, with the same orchestra and also on DG is a very good cycle with the BPO under Levine. An other good cycle I like to mention is Dohnanyi and the Cleveland Orchestra on Decca , much better than the very dry Szell with the same orchestra. For a single 2nd symphony rec I would like to name Sinopoli and the VPO also on DG or for the fourth the BPO conducted by Tennstedt on EMI.

Nice to hear from another fan of the Tennstedt BPO 4th.

I know Bernard Haitink also did a cycle of Schumann Symphonies.

For me, Sawallisch would be top choice for a cycle. As far as individual recordings go, I agree about Furtwängler's 4th, and I would also recommend Giulini's recording of the Rhenish, and Szell's Cleveland recording of the 2nd.
