Hey thanks for the video know what part number those bushing/collars are? Did you replace both "shock arm" collars and the "shock link" collar? Or just the two shock link collars? Noob here, trying to figure out this same issue with my 2001 xr200 and get all the parts I need to complete the project.

Noob here, just picked up a 1983 XR200R. The rear shock has a nitrogen bottle attached marked with "do not refill." Is the shock you're installing here designed to function without that, or is that part just left out of this video?

This show does not need the remote reservoir. This is a much better shock that the stock ones! I have been riding it for a couple years and love it.

I have a 2001 XR 200 R been looking to get a replacement shock is it possible you would know if the newer CFR 230 2003 newer shock would work the same everything looks the same or even out of a brand new CRF 250 2022 and if not can you help me with the order form that you ordered that shock and how you went about getting your weight and everything and all that

Those shocks will not work. They are too long. If you email them and tell them what bike you have in your weight they will do it for you

The only replacement I know of is the www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/ shock. So far I really like it.

I dont know of a taller shock. I bet Hagen could make it a little taller for you if you wanted. you can also modify the frame. On my bike I originally moved the top shock mount about a half in lower using a new tube and a welder. It worked great. Eventually I got a better shock and went back to the stock height.

I am using an aluminum swingarm from a 87 XR250. Way lighter! also using 98 XR250 aluminum linkage.

@@Corn-ped xr350r 1985 worked great only had to add to the break tab. also went with a WP factory shock 15inch i just raised the top mount 1/4 inch
