It warms my heart to see this on your tour. Im glad they are being recognized. Ive never eaten here seeing as though im all the way on the other side of town. But i deliver for uber. When i walked up i almost turned around and said fuck that order lol but something told me to be patient. I finally made my way and they instantly acknowledged me and from there the wait wasnt too long.. all together about 35 mimutes. I stood and watched them work. They are not the problem. The amount of customers they get speaks to that. I saw how they are making the best of what they have and how they do what they can to give every customer satisfaction especially considering how overwhelmed they are. It was nice for me to go into their business. I pray the hard work pays completely off for them and they are able to upgrade. This business deserves every blessing coming their way.

I’m from baltimore and I’ve seen Sugar mamas struggle to keep the doors open after the pandemic they’ve always had great food and A1 customer service especially for a place in west Baltimore u jus dnt get that type of good food and service over here anymore it’s really dope to see them get recognized on a channel with this many followers i hope this helps their business and they’re black owned !!

There used to be a place in my town like that where the wait was always gonna be at least 45 minutes, there was always a 50-50 chance. They got your order wrong in some way, and it felt like whatever side you wanted was the side they were out of that day, but the food was out of this world😂😂. They ended up shutting down because they were going to move to a bigger restaurant and then during the transition the pandemic happened and they just kind of let it go, probably decided it wasn’t worth the risk

​@@jeremyd.2156yes thats because there were most likely other orders infront of his ..this isn't mc Donald's ..Ive worked as a chef before and let me tell you the food is actually made to order except maybe the chicken is pre cooked but thats what causes the wait time .. waffles have to cook depending on how many you have to cook how many waffle makers you have to cut time how many staff how fast they are and also cooking things in order for example sausages would be cooked first followed by fish then waffle while grits are already cooking stir an then grab pan cook your shrimps on the stove lastely eggs .. so its not just about the wait time its about timing with the food

@@ricardorivera7549 we are not turning down customers though ..30 min sounds better than an hour ..just like we eat with our eyes first ..the food can be good as hell but if doesn't look appealing then we won't touch it most likely ..everything is cycalogical when it comes to being a chef and getting it done by any means necessary..that's why a lot of places went out of business because their food must wasn't hitting on anything and the prices and the wait time..the food has to make up for it all .. I get what you're saying but it is very much different than fast food in all aspects

Love Sugar Mama’s. I work a block from there and live just 5 minutes up the road. I’ve never had a bad meal there. Mama is so sweet and works her butt off to bring great food to the community!

I used to work at a Sandwich spot in SF. The wait for a sandwich on average on a weekend was up to an hour. Regulars were always happy to wait because they knew the quality of the food was on point.
