Appreciate the positive view of BMore. Fells Point is a fantastic place, as is Federal Hill. If you ever get the chance to come back this way, might want to take a day and visit Annapolis. Downtown at the harbor is another great place to site see and eat. Visit the US Naval Academy and have a drink at Middletons Tavern, opened in 1750, where George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were also visitors.

It ain't always pretty, and parts of it are gritty, but it's a city with a lot of history and a lot of heart. There is just enough to do there, with its variety of different neighborhoods, but not enough to be overwhelming.

We only spent an evening in Baltimore, and only really got to experience the Inner Harbor. We went there because of this video! We got in too late to go to Faidleys, but Phillips at the inner Harbor was awesome! The USS Constellation was one of the highlights of the area! Such great history. We also had multiple Orange Crush drinks, one of my new favorites! Thanks for helping make our quick Baltimore trip a memorable one.

I used to live in Hamden....it was nothing like it is now,it was an absolute hole. Literally 5&dimes all the way down that colorful strip. And the LOVELY underground Hamden mall lol...both sides were junk shops....we would just go up to the rotunda

Baltimore looks amazing but what was the traffic like and parking? I'm the one who drives so always like to check on parking and traffic. Would love to check out the market and the harbor. Hi Dianne! Thank you so much for your kind words! 🥰 I wish we had a good answer for you on the parking. We found street parking in Fells Point and Inner Harbor, but that’s not guaranteed, and anything around the harbor is expensive. Our hotel had a garage, but it was around $25/day if I remember right. Parking was the toughest part about Baltimore… and any major city really.
