Thank you, thank you, thank you.....for making aware of this reverb (and for the awesome extra discount). I LOVE this reverb! And your walkthrough, of course, is awesome as always! Merry Christmas, Bradley!

Are you sure about those definitions of pre-delay and attack? Normally pre-delay is not an early reflection but simply the delay time between the source and the delay. I imagine it's no different here, and most likely the attack control is just the degree of gradual attack of the reverb. In other words, even if you delay the reverb by using a long pre-delay it will still kick in full on after that delay time has passed, unless you modify the attack to also give it it a softer more gradual start.

Here go... If you're interested in the "definition" breakdown: The first echoes that occur when sound waves hit surfaces (early reflections) and the amount of time between the initial sound and those first reflections (pre-delay). Attack: Soften the initial phase of the simulated room response for a more gradual onset of the reverb.

I try not to go into reading the manual to people in my videos... That just takes a quick Google search if people are interested in diving deeper. You can also download the manual and read it if you want.

@@RadiumRecordsHollywood I did read the online manual, and your explanation in the video is differs from that in substance. You're explaining the "attack" just as if it were a classic pre-delay, which it's not. You say "pre-delay is like an early reflection" and "'Attack' is when the actual reverb kicks on". That's not quite the case. Just pointing it out. Like I said, the attack has to do with graduality, softness of it. Not simply a time before it kicks on as you claim. There is a difference between something having a period of time that passes before something kick in and then a volume wise type of attack, either on it's own or in combination with a pre-delay element. From the manual "Attack: Soften the initial phase of the simulated room response for a more gradual onset of the reverb.". Had you said something like that i wouldn't have any impulse to chime in at all. Anyway, don't take it personally. It's completely constructive critism and I hope you take it as such.
