Unlike the old Napoleonic games, G&B puts a neat *twist* to its plot. The feeling I get from this game is like the WW1 Christmas Truce, even if you are in opposing sides. At the end of the day, you are still human, trying to survive every day. It's honestly really refreshing to see a new type of game thriving as it is. Today it's very rare to see an actual good game with mixed genres that's not also pay-to-win. Which also makes it greater, nonetheless.

I remember when I first saw a clip of this game. It instantly interested me, "is that a zombie game? with muskets?". Even though I do think it loses the novelty after quite a while, it is absolutely phenomenal in so many aspects intentional or not. I think I can create a short video essay just meat riding this game because it really feels like "an actual game" but it was made in Roblox.

I was there when it first started, when there was 1 map(endless) 6 main classes, and like 0 customisation except for nations. I literally got on the game and liked it bc I was tired at the mechanics of blood and iron, like why do you have to stop and shoot in blood and iron, it makes 0 sense. I get that weapons were bulky back then but not that bulky.

Well to be Fair G&B can be horror too! What you need is Play Catacomb and Strayed from the team or solo Catacomb in Private Server (anyway i remember that Private server is suprisingly free) and just let the Game cook with how random it Zombies spawn!

The music selection for the game is god tier, because of how well songs fit for the time period the game is in, and the scenarios you and others find yourselves in. Ode to Joy at the end of Kaub, 1812 Overture for the defense of Paris

G&B is phenomenol. The whole setting is genius and unique. All classes have a reason to be used. All missions are enjoyable (if teammates good). Interesting zombies. Just an amazing game

I came across gnb a little less than a year ago, and I fell in love with the concept and game. The gameplay just feels, so grand. I don’t know how else to explain it, but once you get a competent server and everyone is getting into it, it’s a unique feeling. Just tearing through these endless hordes of zombies surrounded by your comrades and “only armed with muskets and swords” as the game description details, while all working towards one objective: salvation. Each map (especially the longer objective ones) has a carefully thought out story and a rewarding finish. The entire game is reliant on your team working together, and once they do, it really is an experience unlike any other. You really feel like a desperate napoleonic soldier simply trying to make it out of these hellish scenarios alive.

For infantry I would say A if an officer that actually uses the charge is present (I've been in games with like, 3-4 officers and not a single charge the whole game) since the bayonets allow to one shot anything in their path with ease (and it makes a significant difference in how many zombies your team will kill during a charge compared to the sabers), and they can quickly switch to the rifle shooting mode if a barrel is present, I agree on B if not officer is present or they just don't use the charge (Why are you even using that damn class then when we have 0/1 Sappers/surgeons????).

One of the main reasons i like G&B isn’t because of the actual objective mods or whatever, but because of custom arcade lobbies where you can have mini guns with knight armor mowing eachother down as a sapper builds a palace. Absolute blast, would recommend.

Yeah this game is great. I’ve burnt over 500 hours on it, and firstly found it way back in September 2022 when it the only map available was hougmont. It’s great seeing people actually appreciate the game for being pretty damn well made, and not just by Roblox standards. I’m betting my flat screen tv that either GnB or Hellmet will win best shooter this year, especially since the “voting polls” aren’t even really for voting. They’re just there for players to try and predict which game will win each selection. It’s about time Roblox started getting some quality games.

Most modern shooters don't give the anesthetic of war like CENTAURA. It is pretty brutal and it has decent lore (PS. one the characters has a pretty brutal death. DON'T read her death if you want pstd) and it fits the anesthetic of war PERFECTLY. It is also a prequel to a naval game that is pretty decent but usually has low player amounts.
