I didn't think it was possible. I could not believe it. No 3 minute long Macheesemo intro title sequence with grinding guitar licks, no rambling talk on how you went to the Home Depot and couldn't find a parking spot, and no slo motion glam shots of doing what should be just a normal shot. Ha! Great presentation, editing, and most of all, information. Much appreciated.

So happy to see this! I purchased a small Yonico set when I ordered my trim router this summer.... Needless to say I'm glad I didn't spend any more money than I did as I am already upgrading bits to better suit my needs. I highly recommend the trim router chamfer bit that bitsandbits offers as a starting point. Turns out most won't fit the base plate. Also keep in mind the reccomended speeds for each bit. This video fills the gap that most others have left behind! Thank you! ✌️

Saturday morning...looking for an American-speaking ( not UK/Brit for now ) quick info to start my router-based box joint projects for Christmas gifts ( 105° in my Sat Morning work area) and here you are solving my quick question as to joint...bit...common sizes. I've already built my little trim router table and sled for the joint cutting and ALL I needed ( "impatient 80 year old vet...") was 2 or 3 common bit sizes and after more than 1 hour of going thru the KZbin library of things that are good, but don't get to MY humble, simple needs for 2-day. Thank you, thank you, thank you...now I can get to work!

Thank you! That was most informative, especially that bit (yeah) about the bearings location for the flush trimmer. Since I'm a noob woodworker, I will get the trimmer with bottom bearings when the time comes. Though I'm just a DIYer, I prefer to get good stuff so that (i) I don't have to repeat purchases once cheap stuff fail, (ii) they don't fail on me when I don't know how to handle it, and (iii) I don't miss out on any parts that's supposed to be in the package - from Amazon reviews, it seems Freud is notorious for missing components. I was hoping to just get their stuff, seeing how attractive their prices are, but seeing complaints about missing parts, poor customer service, makes me stay away. Add the fact that I'm not in the US, returns are a dicey thing, another thing to worry about. Even Whiteside seems to have this problem of missing parts. It seems like I'll have to go with Amana, but they're so expensive. So, instead of five bits like you mentioned, I'll have to make do with three - the straight cut bit, the flush trim, and the round-over. Everything else, like dados, will have to be worked around using these three. Again, thanks for sharing.
