Properties in the estates are getting more expensive because they are bought up by speculators who then want to sell it for a big profit. I am getting about one offer a week to buy my vacant lot in Golden Gate Estates form speculators located all around the country (even from California), not just Florida. However, the lot isn't vacant anymore.
