Yawgmoth is the second commander deck that I built entirely on my own in paper and it is an absolute monster. I only play it when people specifically ask to try against it! I was devastated when that last opponent scooped before Nest of Scarabs could ruin his day. Someday your opponents won't be so soft, CBG, but it is not this day.

Something you do often when you get down in games is call your opponent lucky and drawing well. A well built deck isn’t all luck, has redundancies and plays great cards and will typically always be drawing good cards.

Against the goblin opponent, they were scared to attack in (held back 1/1's and 2/2's) despite being the aggressor. As a result you should play your opponent's psychology and grab a card like Shieldred (sp?) on the search. With deathtouch and her wide bottom your opponent may be scared to attack and you start gaining life. Look for weaknesses.

Yawgmoth "problem" is that he is really really oppressive vs mainly creature strats, so he ends up in hell queue, and get shis lunch eaten by blue decks.

This was the first HB video i really enjoyed. Your other decks so far have been really linear: ramp, do combo, win. Repeat every game. Whereas this deck has a lot of interesting decision making which is what i mostly watch your channel for. I think your most fun videos are the control decks where every turn has multiple decisions.

I think the Garruk player didn't realize Yawgmoth can't -1/-1 counter itself because it has Protection from Humans. Should've killed it with Heartless Act and pointed the -3 on the Weatherlight.

thought about this esika / Bridge enchantments deck with sagas, theros gods and all the heavy hitting entchantments , not to many shrines + entchantment payoff , but i am terribly at deckbuilding. If u are thinking about one of your next decks , maybe this idea gets an consideration :D

disagree it's just a different kind of game. Like they should separate the blue players into a separate group and have them play each other, which is kinda what the hell queue is for It's basically like playing chess vs chutes and ladders
