You may want to double check your inclusion on Semblance Anvil in the deck. Semblance Anvil only discounts the card type of the card "exiled" with Semblance Anvil so long as it is exiled. So if you imprint your Commander onto the Anvil and then move it to the command zone the Anvil looks for the card type to discount and can no longer find it. Thus it won't discount anything. This is true if you imprinted Eternal Scouge with the Anvil and then cast it. The Anvil would no longer give a discount once the Scourge was on the stack. Given that this deck runs so few other creatures I don't think Anvil would be a reliable discount source.

I don't think semblance anvil works in this case? If you choose to leave commander in exile then you can't return it to command zone to play it again, and if you return it to command zone as it's exiled, then anvil doesn't see an "exiled card", so it doesn't do anything. Same principle as with skyclave apparition and other similar cards.

I'm a big fan of this deck. Semblance anvil doesn't work, as you say. There must be a creature exiled to the imprinted ability.

it's a pretty versatile cantrip in this deck. mana positive cycler with paradox engine + rocks in play, mana neutral or positive extra spell with aetherflux resoirvoir, marginal deck thinning.. what you said can be true in a conventional sense but this deck is trying to storm off. another marginal effect is revolting fatal push.
