why are the legs so far forward?

As far as I have heard in Australian saddles you should have them more forward.

Legs are forward, hands are upside down, adding a pad does not make a saddle fit. That is like put tissue paper in shoes that are too big.

I think its lazy riding due to having such a high backed seat. Being balanced isn't as much of an issue ?
