I had a railway book which had a picture of a steam-hauled train storming out of the little tunnel in the early 20th century. You might now be able to even find it online.

Great information, yes we'll have a look for this. That would make for a terrific photo. Btw, the section to the north end of the tunnel is paved access leading to a parking area with a pit toilette. People with disabilities can now easily access the tunnel and views. We hope to visit Adra Tunnel soon too.

What a beautiful area for a bike ride the vineyards the view of the lake the drone footage is great a real good view of the waterfall then the ride to the tunnel you are making good use of your e-bikes it makes look so effortless.Hey the nice steak😅 dinner making me hungry.

Thank you Eddie! Yes, we highly recommend it venturing this section of the KVR. Also, for those that wish to walk to Little Tunnel, you can park a vehicle on the KVR trail ( rest area and parking ) via access off Smethurst Road Naramata. Approx. 8 KM round trip. A great ride guys. Love the trail through the vineyards. A lovely bridge is always a good spot for a breather. Great use of the drone footage 👍🏻 stunning views across the water. Loved the waterfall. Little tunnel is beautiful. I am jealous of those views guys. The trail is great. We don’t have anything that we’ll maintained near us which is a shame. Really enjoyed watching this trip. Thanks for watching Greg! Great question! We are on a section of the abandoned Kettle Valley Rail Trail, directly above the village of Naramata BC, Canada. The rail trail access point for us was downtown Penticton, BC Canada. The water falls is just off the rail trail and near to Little Tunnel. Have a great one and again much appreciate the comment. I’ve been to the waterfall but couldn’t hike up because I didn’t have my hiking shoes. The drone footage really shows something I didn’t have a chance to see in person

Great video! Lovedbyour ebikes they are really a game changer we love biking even more. We took them to Tahoe and several other places. That trail looked amazing loved the tunnel. That meal looked fabulous the cucumber tomatoes were perfect for me and Ron loves German Potato Salad. We are thinking about getting a smaller grill just like that. Have you used it often and how do you like it? Great video hopefully we get back to Canada next year we would bike this trail for sure!

Also, coming soon (we hope) next year, is the re-opening of the Adra Tunnel ( the longest tunnel on the KVR ). It is currently being remediated for safety and is located a few KMs north of Little Tunnel. Also, we recommend to park and off load at Vancouver Place, a quiet residential street adjacent to the rail trail (near to downtown Penticton ). We love these bike bags by Rockbros. They are great and many folks are always asking where we got them. Amazon and currently on sale right now.
