I do like soul burst with pull, snare and minor maim on stamarc. The 8m is a bit annoying, but this is more than compensated by no cooldown, unlike voidbash. I will often make 2 close stacks of mobs when mobs cover a bigger area. It is just getting used to a slightly different stacking style. Still super fast and useful, since it can be used on every tradh pack, whereas I often find void bash on CD due to kill speed.

A written scribing guide on your website would be very useful. In particular I would like to see how you'd incorporate scribing into trash setups for everything except sorc.

At 2:53 you say it will reduce your and your allies damage taken by 8%, however the tooltip of the damage shield says it will apply to you or an ally. This implies only 1 person would get that right? Or is it just bad phrasing on ZoS their part and it does apply to everyone hit by the damage shield? But the healing Focus clearly says "Beneficial Signature and Affix scripts apply to you and your allies"

The tooltip is wrong then, it applies the damage reduction to everyone who gets the damage shield

The same for the ult gain. You have to use the healing choice over the shield for the ulti gain or the 8% damage reduction if you want to give it to the group. You should double check this. The tool tip does say when using the shield choice that the beneficial scripts won’t go to the group.

​@chrisbartley2009 Tested. Gladiators tenacity does work with the damage shield for you and the group although I wouldn't be surprised if this is changed in the future.

As far as I know it a true taunt, though any chain will 'semi taunt', as long as there is no true taunt present. Been using the Captain America throw, I do love the animation.

I have done some Dungeon HMs without any problems. Don't think it is necessary. However, I will start scribing some skills for my arc tank because I hear it makes it easier. You can make every skill (except for taunts) a magic ability which preserves your stam for blocking.

people were able to tank without scribing for long times, doing trifectas in dungeons and trials. They are not necessary but they are nice to have specially you buy the DLC during sale

It should be in theory but may need an upgrade like they do for classes I.e. you buy it with crowns and then 2 yrs after is free. Mythic was like that I believe.

yes, but those 2 skills will also provide a fat shield (about 20k i think) to you and everyone in 8 meters around you plus some damage reduction for 8 seconds.

Arcanist is already insanely powerful for tanking using only class skills as it is. What else do you want? I'd say scribing is more for those classes that aren't packed with great tanking skills and need some extras to complement their toolkit..

The Wield Soul / Pull ability alone is freaking huge. It will make sustain for all tanks even easier. Even for arc. It will cost nothing to chain stuff in with how insane arc recovery is. Hard to hate scribing tbh.
