And that Cobra died. I'm curious what news Wapol has, is he gonna tell the WG that Vivi worked with the Straw Hats? Shanks' (supposed) child had light colored hair in the Makino panel...? I wonder what BB is after this time. The translation says he's going after "it". DF, poneglyph, or? No surprise that X-Drake is still with the Marines. Crazy how fast Koby moved up the ranks. What's "that thing"? Kaido? The Wano war? 'Sword' is probably made up of the good dudes in the Marines. X-Drake is their leader...? Now I'm wondering if X-Drake actually killed people in Wano when he attacked the village. Was Corazon part of Sword? Is Aokiji? Now you realize how much Law was right when he said in Punk Hazard "i broke the gear", he and Luffy are the reason Big mom came in Wano and Join Kaido and why King Riku backed up the abolition of the warlord system, it's a game changer for the world. Go back seeing this speech from Law right now after he cut Vergo, it takes ALL its sense and its fantastic. Outside of that Sabo can't be dead offscreen, so either Cobra has been killed and Vivi almost by the Wg and they make Sabo be the culprit, he might even have "kidnapped" Vivi to save her. Either Sabo killed the celestial dragon that was trying to kill Vivi or Cobra, either Sabo has been captured and is going to Impel Down right now like Ace (that would make a lot of sense considering he is the one who inherited his will). Anyway incredible chapter and absolutely amazing reaction.

Like you said sabo isnt a character to offscreen. Pound was on screen even if i doubt his death. 2. Sabo is relativly newly reintroduced in the series and hasnt had a real impact on the story yet. Yes he held of an admiral in dresrosa but that could have been a non familiar revolutianary and the effect would be the same. 3. He got only recently the mera mera, why give it to him only to loose it so soon? cheap way to get it in the hands of blackbeard if this would be the case. 4, I get more the feeling this isnt your way of doing things sabo so he did/gets blamed for something and they are either heavily wounded or unable to communicate as of yet. Him being captured would most likely become an Ace 2.0. Which would be cheap relatively so soon again. (dresrosa and alabasta had lot of similarities but where time wise very far from each other). Counter to this could be this time luffy manages to save his brother.... And didnt dragon say something like we will meet soon? Could be a hint for a team up attack to save Sabo. Or was this Shanks?

My theories: - Whatever black beard and doflamingo are talking about is about the same news item as the one with Sabo in it because all the panels prior to that panel were about the Sabo news. - The revolutionaries probably have a Vivi card of Sabo so if the news was that he was dead they wouldn't need to confirm the facts - The assassination attempt and the person dying are 2 seperate incidents, morgan talks about 2 headlines on the frontpage and making the backpage look like a frontpage too so that would indicate 3 or more headlines. - The Sabo story involves the secret of marijois somehow because of Doflamingo's reaction to the newspaper plus what Doflamingo said last time we saw him, "Isn't it fine to reveal already? Power degrades quickly after all". So I think the newspaper story reveals the secret of marijois thats what Blackbeard refers to when he says "letting it land in the hand of the marines... I'd much rather take it for myself". Hopefully i'm right about some of this. Can't wait for your afterthoughts!

I thought dragon was in the reverie but I guess not. It might be just a message for celestial to declaration of war. But sabo got pissed and spoiled the plan. Now, cobra might be dead or it can also be Vivi. But let's assume cobra is dead and the assassination attempt was on Vivi. that would have been a big news itself. Here's what I think, Sabo has been caught by celestial after the clash with admiral. And everyone knows what happens if you are caught by celestial. About death- 1.cobra 2.vivi Assassination attempt - 1.vivi by imu 2.charlos by sabo Black beard setting out - 1.pluton specifics revealed by cobra because of assassination attempt on Vivi. 2. Mera Mera no mi (assuming sabo actually dead instead of cobra or Vivi) Koby's talk with drake: since koby is also member of sword unit. They might have already planned on kaido's capture or something other than that. “THAT THING” koby mentioned must be their previous discussion on certain plan of drake. And because of warlord situation they are in a mess. This tells that navy is not gonna interfere with wano. The reason why I think they won't because without knowing of big mom and kaido's alliance they already started capturing warlord. Now the government has RA, warlord to deal with. I don't think they would want to go against two yonko after all this mess. But the possibility of cp0 fights are good. This chapter also hints us about the end result of fire festival. Oda has teased us by saying, “war by which fate of the world will change.” I think big mom - kaido alliance will win and they become unstoppable. And now that warlords are abolished. The power balance is gone. What crazy events will now happen are up in the air. GOD DAMN!!! I CAN'T STOP THINKING. SO MANY THINGS CAN HAPPEN!

I doubt koby will be much of a challenge for hancock, but he's a lot stronger (seriously, i'm so proud how much he's come as that short pudgy kid from alivda's crew), but I do see him informing her about luffy. but the main issue is hancock leaving: she's empress and her people need a leader. but lets be real here, she loves luffy so much she can't stand to not be with him. I'm certain either her sisters will rule or Elder Nyon will take over so she can go to Wano, as it looks like time wise its 1 week till the final fight on onigashiima. as I think they will fight them off, but after she leaves, the marines will use this "weapon" vegapunk made that will destroy them, which will enter into hell for her people and likely make them slaves while she's gone. I always think she could join the straw hats, either in the actual crew or the grand fleet. I mean, the pirate king and pirate empress in the same crew would make some sense. but knowing Oda, and how unpredictable he is, we'll see.

What is really interesting with this chapter is that Oda makes us readers to think that all the characters we are seeing are reacting to this "huge big news!" which apparently involves an assissination attempt, a death, something to Sabo and something to Vivi/Cobra. It turns out that in fact, the big news is the Shishibukai dissolution. Meaning that in fact, they are not reacting to the same news and they are not directly linked. Oda tricks us to believe the relation between all of these news. This is not the case and it just deepens the mystery around how the reverie really ended!

Some points I’ll list here for you to think about if you get around to that afterthoughts video. Some of which you’ve probably already have read from others - chapter 908: It’s been mentioned that the nefertari family were the only of all the royal families to have “remained on the surface 800 years ago...in other words they are traitors” - chapter 908: sabo says “We have two options...success or death” - with the abolishment of the shichibukai, vegapunk’s new creation can now be showcased which is said to be a replacement as Fuji mentioned - the fact drake and coby are in touch not only links the world government to wano, but also heavily hints at the marines coming in. Whether that be a buster call or simply sending their forces like vegapunks creation, admirals etc. This is even more evident with both cp0 being in wano as well as this sword group with drake being the captain. - there is still that whole light that needs to be extinguished thing as im went to sit on his throne while looking at vivi’s poster. Considering garp mentioned something happened with the alabasta kingdom I’m gonna take a guess here. In the past the government went after ohara and destroyed the place due to the knowledge that was there. Now that cobra knows a lot and alabasta seeming to have knowledge and because of the presence of a poneglyph, what if the next buster call hit is vivi’s place. - as to what Blackbeard is wanting to obtain rather than the wg, if he just read the newspaper of sabo’s death, he could be referring to the mera mera fruit. Either that or he wants to recruit one or more of the shichibukai. - conclusion of the newspaper headlines: front page and back page (don’t know the order), sabo died, there was an assassination attempt and the shichibukai was abolished. Wapol also has some information to add whether that be another headline or clarification/further information on one of the previous headlines

I think Sabo and the commanders were the assassins, and the attempt might have been on a world noble, possibly Charlos/Roswald, because they were the ones in possession of Kuma, but they were stopped by the admirals who then “killed” Sabo. I don’t think he’s dead of course, but he may have gotten really badly beaten. Absolutely insane chapter, loved the reaction, also Big News top 5 confirmed!

Tbh, I didn't think Sabo is dead. Morgan must make a fake news. And since Wapol is the one that informed to Morgan about what happen in Reverie, I didn't believe that. Or perhaps the news is about they have captured Sabo. Sabo, Morley and Karasu are the one going to Mariejois. Dragon and the others not go. And they've mentioned that Sabo and team had clashed with Admiral in Reverie. Fujitora and Greenbull. So my opinion is maybe Sabo got captured because he try to save Vivi and Cobra or maybe Sabo try to attack Celestial Dragons to get revenge for Kuma and got stopped by Admiral or CP0. And if the news is about Sabo Death, I think the reason Blackbeard make a move maybe because he trying to get the Mera mera no mi. Or he try to recruit one of the Warlord to join his crew. That's what he mean "before the marines gets that". Now about Hancock and Coby, I think they didn't clash. Like Recon said maybe they had a conversation about Luffy. About the "Sword" team, I think Aokiji is one of them too. And he's in Blackbeard crew to spy on what they're gonna do and what their motive.

Wapol was rapidly becoming the new plaything of Kureha, Dolton and the gang so maybe he was coerced into helping some people close to the Straw Hats. Also, I think some things are misleading. I can easily see Sabo being accused of killing King Cobra or possibly Shanks. That would get Makino crying, wouldn't it? It also would disappoint everybody, Koala is on the verge of tears, I think she would be freaking out if he were dead. Also, we know Blackbeard is into devil fruits, so of course we think he's wanting the mera mera fruit, but what if it's a red herring and say they announced that they found Uranus or something and BB wants a piece of that ancient weapon booty? Anyway, crazy chapter.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there should be a chapter next week. There's no OP break as far as I know and the magazine isn't on break either. We get a double issue when it's on break and this was a normal one. I don't think there's another double issue until Christmas

This makes only 50% sense to me, weevil was going apeshit even being a warlord, Boa and mihawk would be happy to stay on their island and buggy himself isnt much of a threat. Meanwhile they know Big mom and Kaido are going to meet up and they shit in their pants because of the possibility of a rocks pirates resurface because of it. Instead of trying to prevent this, they are spending massive resources on the shichibukai? Wrong priorities if you ask me. You could say they go for the weaklink first but like Boa says, they are shichibukai because they are strong, they where part of the trifacta for a reason....

All of this was for the follow up to Impel Down v2 & Marine Ford v2 Sabo has been captured and is up for execution. The warlords will be captured and Luffy will end up rescuing them thus maybe acquiring them for the grand fleet. The rematch hype is incoming!

I think the headline reads something like “ Sabo assassinated Cobra or Vivi” but I’m sure there’s more to the story than that. That why everyone is like “no not Sabo” Not cuz he died but because it says he did something un Sabo like. Because in chapter 912, didn't Tenguyama Hitestsu say X-Drake destroyed Amigasa village and wiped out 5 of their samurais when he joined Kaido's forces, a year ago in the time line? Like is he still a good guy or bad guy? Unless he is hiding the villagers somewhere safe.. this can add to the alliance to reach 100K and fight against Kaido ??

I know its random, and i havent read fishman island in a few years but i found it interesting the opening panel has a huge Kaido looking dragon. this may have been explained before and i just dont remember why a dragon statue around the kingdom, but it may explain why Kaido drowning himself isnt a suicide option. Jack is of fishman blood and he couldnt drown either but couldnt move. Given the lore of dragons i wouldnt be suprised if being purely underwater has no effect him. hahaha i bet Kaido and Jack could just Donkey Kong suicide devil fruit users in the sea
