I assume they saw how good RC1 did and thought if they took out all the good cards and put in Blue-Eyes/Dark Magician in there instead it would sell better. Maybe it will, I guess. But I genuinely don't see any reason to open these packs myself as a "competitive" player. RC1 basically had a great card in every pack. The only cards in here that I KINDA want are the alt art Apollousa and IP QCRs along with the Purrely cards. And it'll be much cheaper to just buy the singles. I was definitely WAY too hyped for this set though and my bar has been lowered accordingly :(

Nice card pool ngl , but i think it was a missed chance to reprint Super Poly and Kash Unicorn and Fenrir , since their planets got their reprint in this set (same could go for some Manadium, Scareclaw and Tears).

I saw people who collect starlights also complaining. Tbh, as a collector, id never recommend anyone “invest” in modern cards, especially in YGO, a game notorious for reprints for decades. QCR was their best decision because it lets you actually play super shiny cards without having to spend a billion dollars cuz the pull rate is atrocious.
