I genuinely can't tell if this video is supposed to be a troll or not, so I've listed the ACTUAL best settings for Tarkov, under this comment. - Medium Shadows actually gives you an FPS boost of about 10 FPS, compared to the Low setting - Object LOD Quality and Overall visibility have next to no effect on your FPS, but make it so you can see enemies from much further away - TAA and TAA High have ZERO effect on your FPS, but look much better than FXAA, as it's way sharper - DLSS and FSR are only, as confirmed by BSG, supposed to be used on resolutions of 2K and above, otherwise the differences are negligible - HBAO or Ambient Occlusion TANKS your FPS, so I'd much rather set it on off, since it also gives you better visibility, as there are no small shadows around small objects - NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency set to "on + boost" will actually make max your GPU clock at all times, making for higher GPU temperatures and lower FPS over time - Mip Streaming is great for older and low end GPU's with lower VRAM than usual, making it so the game streams certain textures in real time

In addition, FOV's over 59 in this game, even if it's personal preference, will distort the image and cause the reticle on your optics and reflex sights to not match the actual trajectory of the bullet. That makes it so you THINK you're shooting someone in the head, when in reality, you might end up shooting over or below it.

Thanks for the detailed comment! What would you recommend SSR be set to? And Anisotropic filtering: per texture vs on?

Can't tell if this is troll or not. I have a 7800X3D and a 2080, I gain 30+FPS by having textures on low and DLSS on quality. If I copied these settings Id lose out on a chunk of FPS. Can we have some PC specs to compare this too?

@@CommentatorCaleb Tarkov got a new patch, means the low effort guides like this were bound to resurface again, hoping to catch an algo boost via the new Tarkov players or old players coming back. I didn't say you're milking anything, the gaffot with the ReCoMmEnDeD settings is.
