For the record, I've been to Thailand myself, and love it there. I might retire in Thailand. The only problem with Thailand is, the Thai language is extremely difficult to learn. Extremely difficult, I mean for anyone who has tried to learn. The food, the medical care, the people, the sense of community, are superior in a lot of ways to what you can find in the United States. And Thailand is more fun, if you like fun, with better weather.
