I have a pair of those last grips (my box says Dobe) and I think they are spectacular. I've used them to play Mario Kart and the shoulder buttons work just fine. I don't think any grip is going to solve the problem of mushy shoulder buttons because you have to have a mechanism pushing down the real button.

I bought a pair of these grips for 5 dollars on aliexpress. Definitely worth it. Also, they sell fake Pro controllers that are a little lower quality but by all means full functional and pretty close to the real thing for around 20 dollars which is a third of the cheapest original Pro controller price. For me it's a no brainer just buy your controllers from aliexpress and get 3 fake Pro controllers instead of 1 original

I've honestly been burned by Giotek, with their PS3 Real Triggers(R2 and L2 trigger enhancements), that crack and eventually break off after less than a month. After going through multiple pairs of the Giotek Real Triggers, I finally bought a pair of PDP Pelican Triggers, and I've had no problems whatsoever with those. Maybe it's just me, but for now, I'm avoiding Giotek products.

I got my myriann like grips (a box with 2 grips) albeit under a different brand name for US $7.50, definitely the best. I won't need any other grips and I'm planning to buy another box since I'm so happy with it. I don't the problems with the shoulder buttons that Alex mentions about his Myriann grips.

I like the Surge GripKits, because they are pretty cheap for 2 of them, and they have a comfortable feel.
@maarekstele28157 жыл бұрын
I think the joycons are simply there for convenience when you are on the go so you can do multiplayer and tabletop play. Even toting the little adapters that came with the system with you on the go is an inconvenience. I just try to get used to using them with no adapter at all and use pro controllers or the joycon grip when docked.

i personally don't like the grips that came with the switch, they feel too small and difficult to get off of the joy cons because theres just not enough to grab onto, it woulda been nice if they were designed with like some grooves for your fingers to fall into (thinking of how they'd be used in arms with that last little statement)

The Nintendo Joy-Con Battery Pack is a nice compromise: a.co/3nx3R5r Works really well for games like Mario Odyssey where they want you to use the joycons separate from the console and you need to wave them around. They basically add a little more girth and heft to the Joy-Cons. They work pretty well as an alternative to the sideways Joy-Con for games like Mario Kart but are still a compromise from the Pro controller.
@RossOriginals6 жыл бұрын
Heyyy been trying to find reviews of a Subsonic charging grip to see if I can find out whether it has a possibility to ruin my joycons or if it's a good buy for being half the price of the Nintendo one. Was thinking of picking it up for my spare joycons but not sure if I should just go for a regular comfort grip instead.
