When listening to young singers, I will close my eyes to listen for real emotions. Children can mimic but to truly sing they need to make a connecto the music. If they can't, then they are not ready for fame.

Kristin has such a soulful voice. A fantastic singer.

Glad to see the final guy, Maxwell Thorpe, has done well since the show. Busking for 10 yrs, this shy, exceptionally talented, young guy didn’t realise how very good he is. I’m so happy for him that he can now share his beautiful voice with the world. Such a lovely, humble guy, just the type of person you want to succeed!

Simon’s learned a lot from his days with the likes of Susan Boyle, Jonathan & Charlotte, etc, etc to NOT judge a book by its cover. He was so ready to dismiss Jonathan based on his size. Boy was he wrong! Jonathan has a world class voice. That said, I think Charlotte also has talent & her support was the reason Jonathan was able to get out there. Despite initially dismissing him, he was then ready to boot Charlotte. I’m glad Jonathan remained loyal to his supportive friend. He’s since gone on to great things but, I’ll always respect his loyalty to his friend. 😮

Still think Kristen Cruz was someone who deserved a golden buzzer…but without a disability, minority, or some terminal illness I guess she wasn’t deemed worthy. Too bad talent seems to be minimally rewarded while the life “story” of some average talented contestants get gem golden buzzers. Kristen has a voice that is practically unparalleled in many years of this competition…at 19 years old.
