I got one that is less than 120 proof. It is a wonderful pour. One of my favorites this year.

I have a 14 year SiB and it’s great on your scale. It’s only 120 proof. I also just got a 15 year SiB. I made sure to get one over 130 proof bc those are the ones getting the great reviews. It’s 135+. I’m waiting a while to open it. I’m hoping it will be a special bottle. I paid $180 and I’m ok with that. My only knock on the 14 is the finish is drying. The oak is delicious, but very dry on the finish. We’ll see how it opens up. If I have the money, I’ll buy these every time at high proofs. Thanks Matt!

Everything I've had from Lucky7 has been great. Even the normal shelf offerings. Their toasted is my favorite out of all the "toasted" bourbons out there. Definitely don't sleep on these, they're all solid.

Thanks Matt. Reviews like these are going to drive up the price and increase demand. Maybe you could do such a raving review on let’s say EWBIB to increase availability of others like Lucky Seven. Based on your earlier reviews, I got a 14 year Proprietor at the end of last year that is FANTASTIC and for that I am thankful.

Yeah, these are great, but way fewer ppl will find them on the shelf near msrp in 2023. Saw the 14s being marked up to $350+ in December. Not even out of January yet and I've already seen 14s and 15s priced into the $499-$599 range. I'm out past $200.

My good man , So Matt, I subscribe but, just curious 🤔 why don't you ever add water to your whiskey?it really helps the dram's flavor sometimes. I've had bourbon change into dramatically complex 📝 notes and sometimes nothing special at all, but it will mostly improve it, the key word here is-- sometimes-- cheers from ETn,Smoky Mtns.

Will I buy this some time down the road? maybe. Will I be hunting for this? No. Is it good? Based on your palate, high probability. Not trying to tell you what to like, but I am so over the FOMO for labels selling single barrel picks. It looks like a cash grab by some of these distributors, producers, and retailers. I would rather save my money and buy a bottle of 1792 Full Proof or WTRR store pick.
