Man put some respect on paddle tennis it’s super fun and still intense and competitive it’s still fully related to regular tennis and yes you can hit with regular tennis balls and you can still play on regular tennis courts but the only difference is instead of a tennis racket you use a paddle racket lol I don’t understand why pickle balls is more popular then paddle tennis in the states, I really hope singles paddle tennis grow more in the states over time ✨

It was the right call. Slow it down, you can see it was well on the line.

Is the technique for pop tennis the same as regular tennis? Or do you have to hit through the ball more and less brushing motion?
@avatar_ball_bender2 жыл бұрын
Same as tennis but much flatter and lower. but I train to hit with more heavy spin
@marknixon4966 Жыл бұрын
Same as tennis just not as much spring off the paddle like a tennis racquet

That ball was barely in at 15:37 it seems

The ball was out at 15:37 - Brian Wan's body blocked the line judge (bad angle - the judge couldn't see the ball land) - great match though (they should play again - would be a great match)

There seems to be a difference between this style of Paddle ball and the other…For example it seems more wide open, there’s no “kitchen” area on the court…someone please enlighten me on this “street paddle” thing

This is modern paddle tennis .. no bucket.. the reason is too many arguments playing with no bucket rule .. the open players have scrubbed the no bucket rules years ago

David, “Paddleball” as you called it is a completely different sport played with paddles, a hard rubber ball, hitting against a wall. Street Paddle is a hot new brand that is doing a lot to promote the sport of Paddle Tennis aka POP Tennis with leagues, tourneys, events etc. There was an older version of Paddle Tennis ONLY in SoCal with a restraint line to keep players back until service returner made contact. As Avatar said, that version has all but disappeared. New version is much closer to tennis.

I never played pop tennis but I bet I could beat these 2. This looks so much easier than regular tennis.

@@paddlelegends No I don't mean these guys aren't good but this sport just seems like it's much less physical demand than tennis. I hit harder in tennis than pop tennis looks. Maybe I'm wrong as the ball is lighter? I really like the sound of pop tennis balls! I've also played paddle ball with that kind of racket but it's a different ball and much faster game. Ok until I play the game those guys are better than me. 😂😂
@paddlelegends2 жыл бұрын
@@CoolAce1 the ball being used is a regular tennis ball that has been slightly depressurized. And I’m sure that you can harder in tennis, it’s a bigger court and you have a longer racquet. The challenge with this game is to hit with pace and keep the ball in. And just fyi, the older guy was a former d1 tennis player and the kid won b16s orange bowl.

This is 100 times better than pickleball. If we never let the pickleball bullies set up their nets and vandalize the tennis courts with their lines, we wouldn't be seeing so much pickleball.' I am furious at the departments of recreation that just allowed pickleball to bulldoze their way onto the scene. There is also some dark money involved with funding pickleball. Conservative funders that want to get rid of basketball are behind it. They weren't expecting such resistance from tennis players but now they are finding it. They also wanted to cause noise disturbances in neighborhoods pitting Americans against each other. Creating constant chaos from so many levels helps the Russians push into democracies further and install fascist regimes. We should be outraged at all of the bullshit happening in the country. It's an act of war by Russia and we are sitting here blaming each other. Jeezluss!
