I liked a lot RRLRLL apart from six stroke roll playing it on a pillow and can't wait to play it on my kit. Instead of RRLRLL i was playing RRLLRL, but I belive it will give another dynamics and creativity in my playing.

Breaking it into sixtuplets is the key that unlocked it for me. When you look at the six stroke roll, it’s traditionally played in 4/4 time (it sounds like a school marching band cadence) but……When you break it into sixtuplets….that’s what gives it the funk…..
