I did extensive testing of snipers and all their rounds a while back. While 54r does perform quite well against armour, it is significantly worse at long ranges. I tested 500+m shots, and it had much more drop. Tbh the best rounds for dedicated sniping are m993 or m61. Both pretty hard to get, but if you want to do long range, that's what is best.

m80 has a lower ricochet chance than lps lol and the 7.62x51 rifles generally have more ammo capacity, better ergo, better velocity, and less recoil. Also, the only clip you showed of a ricochet was using .366 while talking about m80
