My oldest son (25 & in the Navy) asked me to make this for him while he was home on leave last fall. My middle kiddo loved it so much that he's asked for banana pudding instead of a birthday cake this year! Soooo yummy! (Years ago, I'd tried several times to make banana pudding like my parents used to make when I was a kid, and I never got it right. Yours is just like theirs, and I'm so happy that I know how to make it now.)

Instead of using whipping cream I use cool whip. It gives it more flavor

You can always add vanilla extract or vanilla bean to whipping cream it taste way fresher compared to cool whip

You can add vanilla and sugar if you want and if you have a sweet tooth just add more sugar if wanted

I add a few tablespoons of sour cream to the pudding mix and you can't taste it it just gives the putting that something something. :-)

Ingredients 3 cartons jello pudding banana flavor 5 cups milk(i used whole milk) 1 cup sweetened condensed milk Water cookies as needed Bananas as needed(i used 4 large bananas) Homemade Whipped cream 1 pt heavy whipping cream 1/4 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla Make sure the heavy cream is super cold 🥶 not frozen but cold.
