That's the way I was raised on dressing with boiled eggs in it. But when I married my husband he didn't eat his with eggs so I stopped that for him make that way no boiled eggs. But I use hot chicken broth from mine chicken tights that I chopped and put in my dressing with sage and I use turkey gravy instead of cream of chicken soup. Just taste really good with turkey gravy . Happy Thanksgiving day blessings Happy turkey day 🦃🎃🥮🍮🎂🥧

I always saute the celery and onions in butter before adding to the cornbread. I don't know if it makes a difference.
