Generally, as an anti-air you aren't very safe in your own spawn but like sometimes you don't even have any good options, especially in small maps. By the way, when playing anti-air use the minimap you get when using CAS so you actually know exactly where jets and helis come from.

It should be harder to shoot down jets and they should spawn far away with bigger maps, i had games where I spawned in with the EF and my settings where set to my sim options so I needed to change them quick, 4 seconds time and your are dead cause pantsir is way to strong, you get shot like 17km away thats just stupid

Its good but as CAS enjoyer if i cant kill it i just got a stillmate. There is a way that is easy to evade (even almost gun range) when you find about it

I play heli with 8 spikes, the second i see one it gets all 8. even then it destroys nearly all of them every time before they get within 750m of it

Imo best spaa is the Type 81 C aka the Tan Sam. No radar but the missile is incredibly lethal

@@imitradisv Comparable or not it's incredibly affective against aircraft within its range. Although it does struggle against low flying helis. I am talking about SPAA in general not just SACLOS guided SAMS.
