Well now I have to ask - what was the mistake? Great video in any case, I thought it was a very good review of current options. Cubing hardware is insanely good nowadays, with lots of sub-specialties (e.g. the Tengyun being both a great cube, but also a really great option to not bother other people). The only newer cube I didn't see you mention was the Thunderclap V3, which I find to be really great budget option, possibly better than everything on your list.

Thank you so much, just got into cubing (age 24) been a lifelong thing I wish I could do but never did for whatever reason. Always impressed when I see someone do one and decided to learn. I am not fast by any means but learned it in a day and can get a 3x3 done in a little under a minute lol. But I bought the mgc3 and holy shit the difference in this thing and the Rubik’s cube brand is INSANE. Thanks for the help!

I think its just his preferences. But stickerless cubes would save you from replacing stickers that wore off.

Anyone who has some 2x2 knowledge I got a question. I have tried the valk 2 and it is a cube to stiff for me and it tires out my hands quickly, which 2x2 would you recommend. I like faster cubes because I have a light turning style.

I can confirm that the Yushi V2M is really nice - it has a similar feel and performance to the rest of the Yu* V2M line: not perfect but completely usable and great if you consider the price.

I just got my first speed cube and I got the Kalin v2m and it arrived broken (not from SCS cause it was sold out). I'm glad this video came out because once my average is subs 30 (mid 30s now) than I'll get a non budget speed cube, and this will help me decide. Thanks jperm ♥️

So I know you super happy with your gan xs.. bbbuut. I just opened my gts3m with PVC coating. And you know what pvc does to the gts3m? No ridges. The pvc stickers are the same height as ridges so it flattens it out. Worth a try!
