Dear Ashlizzle, hope you can indulge us with a deck using Kellan, the kid… Im really a big fan of that card but cant seem to make it work, suprisingly - no deck list on tourney sites features this card outside of Brian kibler’s OTJ protour deck (hail to my idol Brian). I tried a Brawl deck with that card and found it to be really clunky. Too many things need to be prefect to make him work. It is fun when it works though...

I made a version of this deck with Reality Chip, Waterlogged Hulk, Leech Gauntlet, and Mask of Griselbrand, and took out the removal. FYI, any comments with links in them are getting flagged as spam and disappearing.

Toshiro Umezawa saga is pretty good in this kind of deck too. Helps in the red aggro matchup too.

Maybe you could try a Gruul treasures deck built around new cards like Gold Rush, Generous Plunderer, Magda etc ? I play one and it is quite fun.

You should be able to keep swapping ninjas repeatedly as long as you're in any part of the combat phase after you have a creature that isn't blocked. You're not limited to only the block phase.

You can’t do it before the declare blockers step. They aren’t considered “unblocked” until after blockers are declared. You can however activate ninjutsu abilities at any point during combat after blockers are declared
