I'm pretty sure if you feed a passive mob, they don't despawn. That's why when someone makes a cow farm, the cows don't despawn. I could be wrong, but I think that's how it works.

Hey, you can prevent a mob from despawning by getting it on a boat or minecart. That's much cheaper and it works just as well

There's an app called find diamonds where you can find diamonds, gold, iron, Netherite and even spanners. It's op but the issue is I'd you don't have premium you have to watch a 30 sec ad just to get the next coordinates for the material

Just a tip: you can dye wool a different colour using the flowers. Pop the flowers into crafting to make the dye, then pop the wool and the dye in to make it a different colour. Means you don't have to find multiple of the same colour sheep when making a bed

Use doors to create an air pocket to mine in underwater caves. Ores have a reduced chance to spawn adjacent to air blocks. Water is not air, and water caves are more likely to spawn exposed ore. The door makes an air pocket so you don't drown and can mine as if you aren't underwater.
