Love what you've done with the website, really respect what you're doing. Haven't touched XL since Session came out, and only played that for a couple of months before I got sick of it - but still watch all of your videos as they're like sitting down to a nice warm frothy cup of milk. Skater XL is like the ultimate 'cult' game - it only ever found a niche audience, but that audience really took it and ran with it and made it into something really special. I get people are salty about XL having to be modded to be good, but I have so much respect for all the work the community put into it to make it truly the ultimate skateboarding game. Your website is a perfect companion for it 🙏

Session needs to make everyone's lives easier by adding numbers to their stat sliders instead of just guessing where the slider is positioned lol

They really gotta keep working on the feel of the game rather than just the animations. I have about 100 hours more in skater xl than session cause it just feels better to play. No matter what stats I try in session it feels like I'm handling a tank and nothing like real skateboarding

Idk why I don’t see many people skating this spot but it’s so good. 1:35 if you look at the building to the left to the right of the white van, there is gap over a rail then a 4 set. Flows so well.

Love the videos have been very helpful asking for advice. My game on vanilla runs smooth I’ve gotten the essential mods and the right versions but have been getting bad fps drops game runs smooth for 30 sec lags and freezes for 5-10 seconds it’s very frustrating would you know what mod or something I did to cause this? I’ve also did a fresh install didn’t help

Roll your sticks in the opposite direction starting from the bottom, to the left and right. If you get the hang of it you can make them look really clean.

For any stats makers out there, if someone could put together a realistic feeling set based on auto catch, that would be the greatest for me. I've tried Milky's stats and I HATE manual catch. Clicking in the sticks feels so bad in every game I play so I avoid it like the plague. But, with auto catch on, every kickflip turns into a double flip and all kinds of other things. So, yeah, if you know your way around it, here's one guy that would love to use stats based around this.

You can use flick to catch settings like session with mods if you still wanted manual catch

It would be great if you could find someone to write a script to directly install mods into the game., I'm on Linux and there are extra steps to get mods working lol , but just one click would be cool.

That's already a thing! The application itself has been around for a while for maps, but as of last month it also works for all the script mods posted on mod-io mod.io/g/skaterxl/m/xlhub

If you unlink body spin from your board (I forget the setting, been a while) you can do a hard flip while doing a fs 180 and you will get a muska flip.

Yeah pretty much, instead of flicking up to the side flick down to the side and the board will flip different making it look like it goes through your legs when 180ing
