We bought the CruzV2 thanks to this channel and buyers guide (totally worth purchasing a Patreon subscription guys!). I would point out one fact, in addition to the stroller workshops thorough mechanical assessment, which is that the “NOA” fabric in the UppaBaby range is the only fabric which is PFAS free. Many parents (including us) were naively unaware of the extent of chemical treatment almost all brands on the market give their fabrics. UppaBaby naturally don’t shout about NOA and why it’s such a responsible choice as it would disqualify all other fabrics/colors in their range. If this is important to you I’d urge you to only purchase the stroller in “NOA” fabric 👍🏼

The only reason I don't like this stroller, is because of the ergonomic seat. The adjustable ones are better, in my opinion. My son doesn't like sitting in a seat like this for more than 1/2 hour. He's also a pretty large baby, so he wouldn't fit in the bassinet for long, hence changing too early, which is not good for a child's sceletal development.

Its worth noting here too- The bassinet that doesn't come (an additonal expensive as hell buy) with this pram is not reviewing well at allll in the Australian market beacuse it's so hot and just not breathable enough for our climate here. Babies are overheating and sweating in them (as reviewed a ton)

Best review channel! Is the manoeuvrability of the Cruz V2 vastly superior to the original model? I have a 2019 Cruz and find it cumbersome to steer, especially in tight spaces. I'm hoping to find something I can steer one-handed when #2 arrives.

Thanks for your reviews!!! In the full review of the Cruz V2 you mention that it may not handle too well rougher terrains. Wheels seem big enough and you mention that it is sturdy. So I wonder why other strollers, such as the BabyJogger GT2, may be better at handling harder terrains? Is it mainly because the GT2 is a 3-wheeler?

The Cruz V2 can handle some rougher terrain, but more the sort of places you'd run into living in a city or the suburbs (it's not great to take out in the forest for a hike for example). The GT2 is better here due to it's larger front wheel, and the center of weight being a bit further back (which yes, has to do with being a 3-wheeler), though if you're looking at really rough off-roading, then you need a 3-wheeler with even bigger wheels than the G2. :)

Would you say a telescoping handle is better than a hinged design? Any plans to compare the Nuna Demi-Grow And Silvercross Reef?

A telescopic handle is stronger structurally, but can be more complex internally (depending on the design). It's generally better for 4-wheelers since they're more front heavy (so more pressure is put on the handle for tipping and steering), but less important with models like 3-wheelers. Some 4-wheelers manage to swing hinged handles ok, by building them extra big and reinforced (like Emmaljunga's NXT models), but in a lot of cases hinged models on 4-wheeers are unfortunately too weak. We plan on covering the Reef in the coming months, and will definitely add a comparison to the Demi Grow to the list. :)

You can touch up thhe paint with a small paint brush and mat black paint, but the original paint is powder-coating, so it's more or less impossible to get it entirely uniform again without more work than it's worth imo.

Again, great info. I am currently in the market for a stroller. But with bassinet, the Cruz is about 900 €. I think I tend to buy the Harvey 3 for about 700 all included. Is there a review coming soon? Kind regards from Berlin!

The Harvey 3 is decent, but it has somewhat different advantages and disadvantages than the Cruz V2. It's more terrain-capable, but worse in other ways. We've been planning to review it for a while now, but we buy in the models we review (we don't accept freebees from manufacturers in order to stay independent) - and the unfortunate flip-side of this is that models that aren't otherwise popular or are at least widely available around the world, tend to get bumped down the line-up because they're less worth the cost in terms of money and time. This is the reason we don't review Emmaljunga models as much as we should as well. :)

A good choice! Cruze v2 would have been perfect for our needs, but since I'm short, the handle was too high. I don't understand why cruz v2's handle is higher than vista v2 (where lowest setting is ok for me)... It makes it surprisingly difficult to choose a stroller when you are shorter than average!

Exactly as twenty2fc commented. We're in Oslo, Norway, so while I've seen some of these brands in the workshop, it's generally older models, and getting ahold of newer ones to look at is difficult and costly. :)

Have you seen the keenz air 2.0? It is able to hold up to 30kg. Is the stroller strong since it can hold up to 30kg?

I haven't seen any Keenz models yet unfortunately. It might be strong, but advertised weight capacity has a lot to do with how much manufacturers are allowed to say their strollers can tolerate in the different countries where they're sold. Most models can tolerate a higher weight than is advertised, but don't have the seat dimensions to fit a child comfortably who would actually weigh that much. :)

I believe he did one in the past on the egg stroller, and said that there were more cons than pros. Cybex has been done extensively, and their manufacturing and design is weaker than what is preferred. Not sure about icandy

I dont understand why uppa baby is so hype here in usa. Uppa baby is good but is heavy and is bulky to fold. Quality is peemium but theres a lot of choices for 700 dollars. Like the agio z4 is underrated but the quality is superb made in italy and can convert to double stroller and is more lighter.

In my experience repairing strollers, Peg Perego models do not hold up anywhere near as long as Uppababy models unfortunately. Also, the fact that the model is both lighter (meaning weaker materials and less reinforcement), yet with tandem capabilities (meaning twice the weight) should be a red flag. :)

I do like the 5 year warranty, and you're right that it's not fully fair to judge the model without seeing it (I'm going off of experience with other Peg Perego models).
