One thing I like about your videos is that your B-roll is footage you took yourself rather than stock videos or photographs. I would watch your videos regardless, since they are always useful and interesting, but the B-roll detail makes them extra special. ❤

'Fictionalise yourself' is great. I think itd work as a Weight-loss method; have people visualise themselves exercising self control by choosing healthy food over junk food, and being proud of themselves for doing so.

Something that worked for me for decades was focusing deeply on a problem I could not solve for 5-15 minutes before going to bed, then relaxing and going to sleep without further thoughts about the problem. First thing in the morning upon waking, I sat at my desk and invariably I know the solution and must write it down rapidly while I remember it. -> a variation is that sometimes I wake in the middle of the night with the solution obvious but must immediately write it down before it disappears. -> this works with academic and personal and financial and other problems. It’s like having a secret solution machine in my head. I just convocated with my PhD 2 years ago. I am now 75 years old. I learned this 60 years ago. It has been my secret sauce for life!

Thank you so much for sharing! I really appreciate your approach and acknowledgement of different things working for different people. Too often study-tips and work-flow themed content creators fall back into a rather fixed, often blueprint-like narrative of what is productivity and efficient work. Your videos are thus quite refreshing!!! ☺️🙌🏻

Find your videos inspring, I'll surely check :) It can be a simple one but at some point I had to both work and do my masters in restricted time slots were I was also tired. Also understand that I had to travel for courses in the uni so this eliminated 1 day of weekend. I see that I had to list what I had to do, especially at the end of the working session. Else I was lost in the next session and probably had to discover same things multiple time. But when I had the list ready in the beginning of the session I could optimise that and start one step forward. This also allows you to work in limited times. I generally prefer to continue as long as it gets in topics that interest me :)

Hi, I have been following your channel since the COVID time :D Great content by the way! I was hoping that if you could also make a short video about how we can apply for PhD in Computational Neuroscience at Donders Institute, I think it will help a lot of people who are interested in this program. Thanks
