I have some constructive criticism. At the 9 minute mark you talk about joyboy confusingly. It goes, "joyboy accomplished everything he did during the void century because nikas will passed onto them, or maybe the fruit chose them specifically". The pronouns you use for joyboy switch from male to plural and it really threw me off. I replayed it to make sure I was hearing it right. I think the content is good and nailing the delivery so it's easier to understand just makes the content better!

archaeologist and historian here! in addition to the japanese myth you linked to the moon here the more even obvious one to me is apparent from the artwork - the Aztec, and the Maya but to a lesser extent. both have moon goddesses, but the Aztec goddess, Metztli, is depicted with feathers and has a strange little thingy on her back that looks a hell of a lot like a flame. the Spanish conquest of the Aztec had a hell of a lot to do with a search for resources as well, but it was also the greed of the conquests of the Caribbean, Meso and South America that started to spell the end for the Spanish Empire as a whole!

Not really related to this, but I've always had this theory that it was on Wano that Joyboy had his final battle with Imu. It makes sense to me since that's where Luffy awakened his Devil Fruit, Kaido enslaved Wano saying Joyboy will defeat him there, the fact Pluton is underneath Wano, a Road Poneglyph is their also and the battle on Onigashima was kinda like an allied war(Luffy's and Kaido's alliance) hinting at something at least and also Luffy's Onigashima fit, if silhouetted, looks like our first look at Joyboy, but I could be wrong.

When he succeeds, he transforms back into the sun and rises. Wonder if this all has something to do with that. we all known joyboy isnt nika. joyboy was the guy from the void century. joyboy was the first pirate and created the poneglyphs during his run 800 years before luffy. vegapunks theory on the fruits is that they come to fruition because of the hopes and dreams of people. hopes and dreams of having the abilities of nika from the stories told about this mythical warrior was maybe what created this fruit. my theory of nika is that he’s loosely based on arch angel lucifer he took care of the humans on the planet and when the other arch angels came to farm them into slaves, nika fought back to save them. and then nika was banished from the gods and because of his love for the humans. and the giants are nephilims born from nika and his army, and then buccaneers are a branch of that also.

What if a human asked Nika something like, "You say you can manifest anything you imagine right? Can you imagine something that gives me the same powers as you? Or powers like yours at least?" And that's how devil fruits are made, but because he did this, it stripped Nika of his own powers, since "only one person cause wield the powers of a devil fruit at a time" and that's what started the war? It took all the power the gods had and put them in the fruits? Or what if Nika had to for some reason, because he was dying or was threatened? And I think fruit would make sense, since it's like, the one consumable thing that, while they change, there will be loads of them over millions of years so long as there's life/nature. Also thinking about it, it's really only makes sense if Nika is tricked into doing it or does it on purpose. But for what reason? It has to be either something super intricate or super simple with Oda Sensei, I'm leaning towards the former but the latter could be interesting to, especially with it being Oda Sensei writing it.

In Chapter 1135 Saul mentions "Yeah there are a few Adam trees around the world, But the age of this one is off the charts" So the 1st part "there are a few Adam trees around the world" So in regards to your theory, you think the god that came down from the sky, forced the ancient giants to plant these indestructible Adam trees and 3 other main trees as you said, 2 part "but the ages of this one is off the charts" It does tie into your theory of the tree must have been there long before the giant and must have been planted by giants way bigger than the normal day giants, as if the age of it is "off the charts" as Saul said the size of it to when it was planted and how big it is grown is crazy, Any way food for thought, But also we can't rely on size comparison too much in One Piece Oda does care too much about sizing in One Piece, Kouzuki Oden's sword and Roronoa Zoro Anyways definitely like this theory and looking forward to the rest of the video on this theory ✌🏽

Still think Nika is not a god originally. I think he's a rubber-hose style cartoon character that was probably projected with holograms in an ancient civilization. It would fit with all the evidence we have about how the devil fruit works. The character would have a 'rubber' body from observations. The character doesn't have a natural alternate form but instead a 'battle' form while awakened that has it's own theme music which the people could have attributed to his heartbeat. It also explains why the world can be manipulated like it is made of rubber while also awakened. This could also explain why they thought of Nika as the god of the dawn. This also lines up with many figures in One Piece's past that have been uplifted to a god status that are normal things like Jaya with the serpents or the Celestial Dragon's elevating themselves to god status.
