the samus dk debate depends on current meta. samus does better s scrappy players while dk gets bum rushed, but dk does better vs passive players who samus struggle to approach effectively. Nowadays passive play is very common so dk is doing well because the character can force approaches with charge punch, has great air speed and a sharking uair to deal with platform campers and is generally good a playing the "puff bair" game.

Link is gonna move up 3 spots if Aklo perfects acid drop. Link's main issue is dealing with spacies pressure; the characters right above him have an easier time, and also have normal grabs. Link/Sheik is always gonna be garbage no matter how much his meta is advanced.

Can’t wait for people to get that Marth is not that great. He struggles against Fox, Sheik, Falcon, Yoshi and Pikachu. He needs to play a certain way in each MU. He does not have that clear cut game plan like other top tiers do. Falco is a better character than Marth. After that, i think its debatable

yeah Mewtwo might be the most slept on character in melee. He can combo and edgeguard really well; he has one of the best recoveries in the entire game and has decent movement with teleport teeter cancels and a long wavedash; combine all that with the best down tilt in the game and mewtwo could be insane in a few years

Here to rain on the parade, he is very light, big hurtbox incl tail hurtbox, reflected projectiles cant hit opponents, gets shit on by sheik/falcon/floaties/marth, unviable trash (I think he is underrated too tho lmao)

Marth being considered consistent despite the insane movement in Melee gives me a lot of hope for him on Ultimate ngl. Gonna grind. I know Ult is a pretty different game but Marth is so unexplored.
