I think this happened because they were trying to fix sword swings getting blocked by the defib holograms, but if this is intentional I would much rather have emote cancel without piercing than piercing without emote canceling

Remember when I said a good sword rework would be reduce the damage to 3shot mediums but incorporate piercing. Well they did that without reducing the damage and now sword is completely broken. I am very surprised they still have not patched it, its borderline bug abusing to cheese the leaderboards(not meant in a bad or toxic way). But it makes sword a little more skilled and less frustrating to play into if they balance around that feature
