Trying out Taco Guss, one of the most popular and best taco shops in downtown Cabo San Lucas! We had some bomb authentic mexican carne asada, lengua, al pastor tacos but the Shrimp Camarones tacos here were a stand out hit!

Those tacos look amazing!!! I love shrimp. I would probably order 3 shrimp tacos. The shrimp are huge. Avocado/guacamole makes everything taste good. During Lent I purchase a cup of cooked breaded shrimp from Wal Mart deli, make some guacamole then spread the guacamole on some bolillos (we call them francesitos (little French bread)) and put the shrimp on top. Yummy. Great video Dan. Stay safe.

So good! Yea during lent season on Fridays mariscos, fish and shrimp tacos are the way to go! Man I wish I saved my stomach for more fish and shrimp tacos here because they were sooo good!

@@DanVsWorld I just came back from Cabo we used Uber everywhere and is cheap. Tacos are good but not the best as a Mexican I know real street tacos Cabo has them but you probably wouldn't want to go where they are located.

Just visited Tacos Guss, El Paisa one block down and Gardinieas a few blocks away. Guss had the best shrimp/camerones, Gardinias best Pescadero/fish and el Paisa the best pork/al pastor by a long shot. The Gus al Pastor was lifeless compared to el Paisa. El Paisa also had the best steak/carne asada. Try em all!

Once they changed their tortillas, I knew the quality was about to go down. Here in Los Angeles los taqueros keep traditional corn tortillas and taste better. Unfortunately, a lot of taco places in Cabo are using flour tortillas.

Just got back fr Cabo and went here - had a pork and a beef taco - gross beef in cubes was over cooked and dry, pork was tasty but also dry. Toppings looked recycled and everything was so dirty looking. Did I go to the wrong Taco Guss??

In March of 2024 my family and I were in San Jose (this is the airport location), San Jose Del Cabo, and Cabo San Lucas. My mission: to find the best taco. Taco Gus (there should be a sign outside that should say gringos only) came in dead last- even the tourist places at the beach shores had better tacos (and many of those were just simply awful). Yes it is true that a large platter of accoutrements is dropped at your table (a table, covered with clear plastic that is just wiped off for the next victim) - that is the best thing and you haven’t even taken a bite. Once the tacos came and we tasted……….even my daughters knew my opinion without asking (we went there because my daughters husbands name is Gus). I would encourage you to go on your own adventure and avoid this taco stop.

@@DanVsWorld Tacos: If you are in San Jose - Jazmins - has what I would call great comfort food, San Jose del Cabo corridor- 7 Seas Seafood Grille - the view is spectacular which lends to the experience, Cabo San Lucas - Roasted Grill and Bar- and they give you an extra shot All 3 of the above places treat you great. The tacos that they offer are expensive and horrible this guy that says they are good does not know what they should taste only one sauce is offered old and tasteless. These tacos are made for gringos Only,,,,,, the onions and everything they offer are frozen from a few days old.. Don’t believe what you see… go to Taco Bell maybe better.
