One of the best tools ever. My teacher always said that dont get it mixed with normal tape measure. This is a drawing tool and tape measure is for measuring.

Seems a decent tape measure,u would think other tape measure brands would take advantage of little added things like that.Seems mad to know that not all tapes have a magnetic lug on the tongue part of modern tapes.I have a magnetic tongue on mine and its a great little effected extra to make it easier to cut boards with a blade running alongside it when cutting straight cuts.Good video by the way.Been plastering for nearly 20yrs and never seen or heard of that tape u using.

How long do the blades last in them?

I have had one that’s about 3 years old. Still going strong. It’s generally the spring that fails first.

From Ljungberg. With the build in circumference measure! Still have one or two of these. Back in 2000 we actually thought about getting these to the US and replace the scale with an inch scale. But we never executed it.

Now I remember: We actually contacted the the company (the Ljungberg family). But they wasnt interested in producing the meter with an inch scale. They probably didnt see, or care about, the value of the US market.

@@brianhjmarklarsen5146 If the US cares about its market then it should focus on the more logical international system of measurement instead of clinging to an ancient and inefficient system. The US is doing this to itself.

Hultafors own another tape manufacturer? I thought they were all made by Fisco in the UK. I’ve got some Fisco tapes (videomatic & pr8) and they’re solid.

Is this tape measure made of 100% nylon, or is it made of stainless steel? Please give me feedback, kindly How durable is it, it rusts easily, do you still have it? Tell us your experience with this product, hugs Would you recommend these measuring tape or would you recommend another brand?

Not sure on the materials, you would need to check their website. Regarding would I recommend, I still have the original one from when I shot the video. Best tape for drywall in out opinion. Very handy.

It is steel, with repaceable measuring blade. It is not cheap and extremely usefull, so it is not one that lies about to rust. If you like how it works there is no other brand. It is basically a large caliper and it can reduce your workload a lot.

It is prone to rust in wet conditions, but some WD40 or other oil spray reduces the rusting process drastically. Started using Talmeter back in 2019, right now I'm using third one. First one was over-used and the spring failed to rewind the tape inside, probably due to lot of dirt and debris buildup, and I cutted the tape on second one sadly...
