Great presentation, previous video you show the timer, that’s really interesting. After pva, how long do you leave it, tacky or dry?

I like to add fibres to the first coat on walls like this and on overskims in general. I use betokontakt or PBR Accrofix no need for sbr 👍🏻

Is this the best all round midget trowel? I was looking at a Marshalltown but the flexi front looks a nice touch. Wanting something pre worn as it won’t get much use but handy to have when needed. Thanks

Get bigger boards. You don't want a joint running across the length of the wall At the top that's shocking!

Brilliant video and very informative. As an aside (going off script now):Has anybody told you, you have a face for cinema. You should try acting. I could easily see you in Lock, Stock and 2 smoking barrels. Get in touch with Guy Ritchie! Thanks for the tips and the gauging advice.

It was recommended not use it to put on with only to flatten. So blue grit wouldnt damage it if you done it the way recommend

How heavy are the bags of cement? What is the volume of the black buckets? I use 18litre buckets and 20kg bags. For scratch coat I do 2.5 buckets to a 20kg bag and about 1 litre bucket of hydrated lime per bucket of sand. For my top coat I use 2 buckets of sand per 20kg bag of cement and 2 scoops if Synlime (synthetic lime). I was always told to go richer in cement for each successive coat. I am in Canada and use this for parging, which is like a render on a wire mesh over foam for the basement portion of the house. What is your opinion on my mix? Thanks for the video I really enjoyed it!
