Symbolic Tarot- as soon as I opened the box and started exploring it was a perfect fit for me. Slight touch of surrealism, clean line drawing, subtle touches of gold accents. The feel. The weight. Yes to ties💕💕💕 In my life as well as my tarot and oracle decks there are many ties as far as what I like, love and use. I love the Naturescapes too. The Spacious Tarot is my number one deck. Another deck that came out often this year and I fell in love with it again is the Good Tarot. I really enjoyed your picks, so many for my wish list.

Omg and out of all these I love the Rosabelle tarot most. It reminds me a bit of Textured tarot with the type of art - colage. But you are right,it just screams Summer ☀️🌞😎

My top decks of the year…definitely Fyodor Pavlov and Tyldwick 10th Anniversary (which I only found out about thanks to you, so thank you!). Fascinating that the Age of Aquarius Tarot is water based when Aquarius is air! If you liked the Land of Stories, have you tried the Tarot of Tales which has a guidebook that helps you build a story for every spread? Love Symbolic Soul. Thanks for sharing these.

Don't sleep on the LWB on the Pulp Tarot if you have it. I like the author's blurbs and I love the deck. I got it for $15 at Chapters on a whim. No regrets.

I understand the effort and comments behind the push in the tarot community towards more body diversity in decks, but I honestly think that it can sometimes hinge on discrimination against (body) beautiful people and potentially a form of censorship on artists. Just imagine someone saying they don't like a deck as much because it has too much body diversity for their taste...I mean, that would be criticized as extremely discriminatory and that person could even potentially get "cancelled" if they were a public figure, yet it would not only be allowed but even encouraged if it were said about a deck with images of (only or mostly) (body) beautiful people. At the end of the day, though, we all have our tastes, so you are free to like whatever art you want on whatever grounds because art is subjective. Let's hope we all apply this principle not only to ourselves but also to artists creating their art as they see it. Thank you for sharing this year's favourites with us. They're all amazing finds, as always :)

For me I just have more difficulty getting my intuition going with a photo realistic modern deck when there is few diversity because it doesn’t look like my friends or the people around me where as I don’t have that problem for drawn or painted decks for eg so I know it’s a very me thing and that’s why I wanted to make the disclaimer that all of those are very biased choices. @@thewavesofyoursoul That's a good point. I guess that for me, this Aquarian Tarot and the Starchild Tarot are fantasy-world decks, so I don't get that feeling with them. But I guess there's also the underlying point of perspective on whether one sees art as striving for perfection even by methods of idealization (and yes, then there would be the question of how do we define them), or as aiming for a realistic or truthful representation of reality (again, these can be hard to define too). I hope my comment did not offend as I respect you and appreciate your point of view and what you do :)
