Just got back from a trip to DisneySea and I was absolutely blown away by Journey to the Centre of the Earth. I was exactly the same as Molly - desperately trying to take in every detail of that massive lava monster animatronic before we passed the scene. The animatronic puts on such a great show, and it amazes me to think it does this over and over again all day every day with ride vehicles passing it every few seconds. I would love to see the behind the scenes of how this ride works. Just an incredible piece of imagineering

Twelve outta ten! While all the Disney parks want to make both money and memories, you can tell which is more important at Tokyo Sea…and it’s not the bottom line! 🇯🇵💙

From the first day Tokyo DisneySea opened, I knew in my heart how special it is. Your video confirms that it is indeed true---I end up questioning the American imagineers' lack of attention to detail, and frankly, creativity. Thanks for giving me an armchair day at this fantastic park. Love you guys!

I’ve been there once in 2011. The attention to detail at this park is incredible. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. But what makes this park outstanding are the guests! The Japanese people are so polite and respectful - and quiet. I wish Disney World had more of these guests.

Hi Molly after watching this video I'm packing next summer for toyko disney of the sea. I love your mickey sunglasses n really want a pair. Where can I get them?
Loving the Tokyo Disney videos! In the process of planning a Japan visit, do you think one day at each park is enough? I'm worried I might feel too rushed, especially at Tokyo Disneysea, and I'm wondering if I should maybe try and extend it for 2 days there.
@tantohalim3 ай бұрын
As someone who went to disneysea 3 times and disneyland 1 time, I think 1 day at disneyland and 2 days at disneysea should be good. Before fantasy springs open, I would say one day is enough for disneysea (a bit rushing it though, like skipping the parade to get do rides), but now it should be at least 2 days. So many things you can do in there, take your time, because that park is so gorgeous. *btw, good luck on lottery for big band beat. Out of 3 tries, I only got it once

A fun-fact that I believe is true: Disney Sea was originally going to be at the Port of Long Beach next to the Queen Mary (that part is 100% true), but that never happened. But the part that I think is true… That is why you have a very similar looking ship there now! How did I hear this? I worked with the father of the one of Imagineers (Chris Merritt) who was part of the Disney Sea team (and later Shanghai as well).

42:34 AGAIN! You get ALL THAT FOOD for under $10 a person! And tickets are $55! GEEZ LOUISE! How is that possible! You can’t get anything like that in the US for that price! The sandwich alone would cost $10! I tell you, Tokyo got their money situation right! 1:00:02 I’m still pretty sure I’d either be a Summer Fairy cuz my birthday is in Summer, or a Fall Fairy cuz I really like Fall and Halloween. 1:08:52 Oh yeah! That’s my favorite part of the whole park! I LOVE Little Mermaid! Came out the same year I was born! And I think the same month! Or maybe later. Underwater is my favorite thing to see! I would TOTALLY DEFINITELY go here first drop! I could skip the popcorn. I’m allergic to white chocolate and matcha is green tea right? I can’t drink tea having Iron Deficiency Anemia. Makes me feel quite terrible and sick. That show looks AMAZING! I really like those kinds of shows. Fantasmic is really good too! How they get all the effects, the floats, the music, to line up perfectly every time is SO COOL!
