When I lived in Tokyo, I met one of the imagineers, in a bar, who was working on building Disney Sea at the time. He said that it was by far the best Disney theme park that he had worked on, and that he had worked on quite a few. I also had several friends who worked at Disney Sea, a stage manager, a drummer, and a singer/guitarist. (The drummer and singer/guitarist were foreigners.)

OMG so happy your first ride was Sindbad!! It's honestly my favorite ride in Tokyo Disney, and one of my favorite Disney rides ever. I know it's not high-tech or full of thrills and cool experiences, but it has SUCH a beautiful message and I'm a real sucker for that. Plus the animatronics are a lovely tribute to Small World-style Mary Blair dolls, and the sets are very lush. If anyone here doesn't know it already, I suggest looking up 'Compass of your Heart Alan Menken' or 'English version'. (Japanese D23 had a Voices of America-style chorus sing it at a previous convention.) It's right up there with 'When She Loved Me' as a song that gets me crying instantly...although thankfully, happy tears this time..! Also I didn't get the Chandu hype until after I rode it for the first time, but he is totally the best. I stan a stripey KING ✊🏻👑🐯

Thank you for taking the time to film while you were on your dream vacay. I’m now understanding better how much more sophisticated this park is from others. Some famous bloggers visited this park with friends but they didn’t seem as impressed. I’m thinking they just wanted to visit the park instead of taking their time to explore the city and learn about it and the culture. Anyway, this is greatly appreciated. Also, where did Kitra get her Grogu shirt? I’m a huge huge Grogu fan & started collecting tees and adorable animated figures of this stinking cute critter. I also have a sweet pug named Petunia so I’m extra extra gullible to “adopt” (purchase) small fun chunky characters. Heck, I’m married to one! 😂

Loving your Japan journey! We first came upon your channel during your first Hawaiian trip. We live in Honolulu but have never stayed at Aulani. We've only shopped & bought bakery items there lol. So that was the start of us becoming fans of your channel! We've been to the Tokyo Disney resort on three different occasions & yes, it's our favorite of the Disney parks. Watching the joy you experienced, not just the parks but Japan in general, reminds me of all the times we've went there & had our minds blown. From the konbini (all the convenience stores, not just 7-11) to the insane department stores (you HAVE to go to Yodobashi Camera someday! As well as Mandarake, which is a collectors' paradise.) to our favorite thing, Depachika! (which can only be described as food heaven! An endless array of food, both savory & sweet, located in the lower levels of department stores. We went to one named Tokyu Food Show in Shibuya expecting to breeze on through & ended up staying in there for two hours! There's also a new location in Shibuya Scramble Square, which unfortunately we haven't been to yet.) Japan is just on another level. And of course, taking in all the nature & history of various places in Tokyo, Osaka & Kyoto have made Japan our favorite destination. I know you're going back someday (Universal Osaka is calling!) & when you do, we'll be living vicariously through you, thinking & reliving our own memories. Can't wait to binge re-watch all of the Japan vlogs!

Great video guys! I’ve never seen anything about Tokyo Disney before so this was all new experiences. It’s so cool that the park is so different from what we have stateside, it really makes it a unique destination. Always great to see the different types of foods the parks have (but never trust the Japanese version of American food, I’m starting to think this is payback for inventing the California roll), as well as the merch. And it’s interesting to see shows like Aladdin, Coco, and Moana done in Japanese, I hear learning songs you know in a different language is a good way to improve your pronunciation 😁

I'm so happy for the both of you, I've been to Disney Sea 3 times and it is the best themed park in the world. I think the reason is because of the owners Oriental Land Company. Did you by chance notice how Mt. Prometheus changed as you walked around the park to its environment of the different ports of call?

When you both got emotional upon entering the park, I felt that. Not only with Disney, but any time my wife and I go somewhere new that we have always wanted to go to I start to tear up. Great video!

Love the popcorn tongs idea! When you are constantly touching different things in the parks, its great for sanitary reasons. Thank you SO very much for documenting your time in Japan, I LOVE watching your Japan video series and it helps me plan my trip for the future!

Wow thank you so much! Japan was one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. It’s a little overwhelming to plan and a little scary when you first get there but you figure everything out quickly you just gotta step a little out of your comfort zone. Highly recommend it

Usually I skip through shows and fireworks on KZbin videos but OH. MY. GOSH!!! That show was stunning and I didn’t want it to end! I would be an emotional puddle on the ground afterwards! Between the welcoming of Chip & Dale and the finale of the show why did you come back home?! 😂

Omg the Japanese during the tower of terror. So funny and also that bumper boats ride. It was like a confused Japanese version. lol.
