I would have been cool with them covering a Lot of Boruto tho but then they'd have top actually add a bunch of those characters and not have them Be one offs from Ultimate Ninja 4. Its Like DBZ. What I don't like about this game is the lack of solo content, the story mode, and the absurdly low CPU difficulty, due to my poor connection, I rarely play online. So improving the CPU or adding a story DLC of Boruto would be a great idea.

HONEST STORM CONNECTIONS REVIEW: This game is actually really fun, especially when you play with friends or honorable players. It doesn’t deserve the hate it gets but I will say the game did have a bad launch and Bandai deserves criticism/scrutiny for pushing out slop like that. I’m top 20 in the world on connections and I have 890 hours played. There’s still some issues this game has but they’re not that bad where it’s unbearable to play also it’s fixable and most likely will be fix in the next updates. There’s a lot of pros that come with this game that over weigh the cons for me and I find it way more fun than storm 4. I enjoy the combo mechanics, 60 fps, viable roster, slightly better netcode, the gameplay isn’t sluggish like storm 4, and it’s the storm game that is receiving updates. I never regretted spending money on this game and most people who dislike this game are probably not into storm anymore and simply grown out of storm. I wasn’t expecting much from this game due to it being a filler game but I can see why some people were upset this game didn’t offer much but im someone who plays storm online everyday and I enjoy it for the gameplay experience alone. The only reason why storm 4 has more players on steam is because storm 4 is on sale for $5 every week and the modding community. it’s common sense to buy the $5 game instead of the $60 game but I really hope there’s a huge sale or free play weekend for connections so more people can give it a try. The reception and launch of this game cooked it bad but everyone i convinced to get this game enjoys it especially if they were new to storm and I also have tons of s4 friends who have this game on their wishlist funny enough.

My problem other than removing tilts and Chakra kunai which I hope they implement in a s5 where everything is together is that it caters too an ungie bungie aggro playstyle with little punishment for it like storm 4 had. I think the best storm was generations for it's balanced and gameplay I think it doesn't deserve hate but unfortunately due to incompetence it might not recover it's big player base due to 1 being too slow on updates you need monthly like strikers and free dlc as an apology for the bad launch we all know it has. I think connections super aggro playstyle is too much for me but hopefully this shines criticism on why connections is underwhelming compared to others before it.

@@Criticmasterz I respect this opinion, although I will say generations did have a lot of justu priority but the game was still fun to play balance wise. I enjoy the aggro playstyle because I went against a lot of runners in storm 4 and it was too focus on breaking guards instead of throwing hands, but I do think they should touch it up a bit in connections and buff guards and slow down chakra regen. I feel like any storm game that is like connections or if connections had no issues at launch people would still find it overwhelming simply due to the fact is been a 7 year gap since the last storm game. I know a lot of people expected a new engine, new movesets, or just a storm reboot overall but it’s obvious this game was made in a year and the intentions were to make a definitive storm for next gen consoles. Good criticism though I respect this take a lot!

Bruh they should take what storm 1/boruto shinobi strikers had and start adding new game mechanics like fighting on top of buildings, clashes, supports who can level the Plainfield, longer ultimates that is shown in the series. They literally had the material but chose not to use it. If we had wall climb back the grabs will have to be change to grab/throws qhere you toss your opponent far away where you have to ninja dash. If it is change to a far more open arena fighter.

This game is the first one where the characters are unlocked automatically. Ok so the way combos work now is a bit more insane and much easier due to now tumbling a opponent i can chase and hit them. Crumble state can be hit as well. Among other things. My issue is instead of bringing back stuff for this anniversary of the anime game you get a new story with characters that should be playable but arent and history mode being heavily watered down overall and excluding a lot of boss fights. So while i enjoyed my time with special story mode And the gameplay what it has left is the survival challenges and the ultimate survival that has 3 tiers now. I expected a very limited content game but this is much less than i imagined....

It always pisses me that Kunarai,one of the OG character people been asking to be playable for SEVERAL Storm games straight is finally out but she's only for the new game which cost as much as all 4 storm games combined.
