I had a similar experience, I had gotten cancer removed recently in a pretty major surgery, and I was half asleep in the car on our way home while I was recovering from anesthesia. Since I had a breathing tube jammed down my throat, it was pretty sore and I wanted one thing. A milkshake. A milkshake from a local chain I only go to once every three or so years. So then I got a mint chocolate chip milkshake, and guys, MY GOD THAT THING WAS BLENDED WITH SWEET CREAM AND I WANTED TO CRY WITH HAPPINESS, best thing I've ever drank in my life And then when we continued home, I got hungry so my parents stopped at a drive through italian restaurant and I seared my throat with the spicy baked sausage pasta, and it was worth every bite, it was a nerve wracking day but that all went away when I got a milkshake and spicy pasta. I can only hope to experience it again, but not for a long time.
