Our weekly food/household goods budget is $75. Between Aldi & Dollar Tree we make it work for 3 adults! We are on our way to being debt free as of April 2019! Thankful for stores that provide a way to accomplish this. After April 2019...$$ amount used for paying off debt will go to savings and budget will most likely be the same! 😎

I love Aldi's and their prices. They also offer a higher quality of product. One note - turkey bacon is super high on sodium, as its cut from the red meat of the turkey. Try the lower sodium bacon with 90 cals for two slices of bacon. My favorite is the breakfast sausage and their asian meatless burger in the freezer section. I have food allergies and Aldi's carries alternate healthy products I can eat without fear of seizures. Thanks for the great vid!

I am so glad to see you have an Aldi in the States! We have the store in the UK and it is one of my favourite places to do a food shop not only because costs are low but the quality of food is better than branded goods at times.

Thanks for the meat tip! I paused your video when my husband was running to Aldi for a take and bake pizza for supper. I went with him and made a beeline for the meat. $5 off a five pound package of ground beef had my name on it! I'll go back another time this week for regular grocery shopping. We like to get the reduced sodium taco seasoning, the tortilla chips and cheap salsa. That meal is $2.37 plus the price of the meat. Marinate a filleted chicken breast in the seasoning and oil, then fry up and we use hamburger. We also use brown rice instead of chips on occasion. Don't forget the cheddar cheese. A pound package is about $2.50 and we don't use an entire bag. Cheap delicious meal! Love your channel. I'm a frugal momma and wife.

We love SO many things at Aldis. I have two little girls (3.5 and 1.5) and though we don't eat a TON of snacks their sort of pantry goods are always the best price. Also cereal! At least a dollar and usually 2 less than name brand and generally I feel just as good. Another big one is the kids yogurt tubes, and just dairy section in general. Last main one are the steamable veggies. I like cooking but find it easiest to put effort into the main dish and often go for steam veggies as a side. They are always less expensive than other stores and it's nice to stock my freezer with produce.

I have a new neighbor who asks 'Where do you like to shop?' I started with the local Walmart once a month and she said, 'oh, no, no one goes to THAT Walmart' because the town's 'upper-crust'? Well, the parking lot's packed, so 'no one' drives ALOT of cars around I guess? Anyways, I didn't even get to mention my use of that town's Aldi every other week or their Goodwill ~ I go there too! I hit up 2 of the 3 last Friday. And Monday, I'm going back to hit up the one I missed. She's probably 'too good' to be my friend? I didn't know there were still people so High and Mighty here in 2018? Which reminds me that years ago my mother-in-law (God rest her soul), who was an 'only buy brand-namer', just loved my coffee. She said her Folgers never tasted as good as mine. She always was checking, but my pot was the same. She didn't know I'd re-filled the Folgers can (yes, 25 yrs ago in the can) with a foil bag of Aldi coffee! It used to be really delicious, the green foil bag of decaf with gold letters? I'm on to new beans, but sometimes there's some really tasty treats at Aldi. It's a little trial & error. She just chalked it up to my water??? Fun trip! Tx.

Loved the ,"I don't do organic...don't judge me." Aldis is great during the Christmas season, for imported chocolates, unique gifts, fancy cookies, etc. for very affordable prices! I learned the hard way not to go expecting leftover holiday stuff at even better prices, because they sell out before Christmas. Just remember a quarter for the cart and your own totes and boxes.

Plus can't beat the price on Jasmine rice this week it was 40 cents cheaper. Milk here is cheaper at Walmart for 89 cents a gallon. Produce rocks to we always get our apples there. It seems ALDI has almost the same low prices in the US as they always had in Germany (where ALDI is from). What not many know is that ALDI (in Germany and Europe at least) has co-operations with well-known and high-end brands to produce stuff for them under the ALDI labels. So if you find so-called knock offs that look like and taste like the real high end product, it most often is the real thing. Here in Germany you simply check the back of the packaging where the originally made for ALDI by/in tag is, most of the time it shows the same city as the high end product is produced in and you know it was probably even produced in the same factory.

They do have brand names but their brands are good. My husband is picky but he loves their rice crispies! My husband buys their canned fruit which is inexpensive and he has them for a snack or lunch. Oh, he also likes their yogurts, which are good for him and inexpensive. I always look at seasonal and other items they get in. We even get inexpensive peanuts for the birds and squirrels, when they have them. There are no limits.Oh, I have bought plants and bulbs from them very inexpensively and have not been disappointed. Aldis is really growing here in NJ... I just started shopping there about 7 months ago. Their private label is just about as good as any name brand you may find in any supermarket... their cashiers most definitely have the best jobs!... A stool to sit on, no bagging any orders but I do wish they were open later and they had more than one cashier scheduled at a time although a grocery clerk usually comes up front if it’s really busy... I still give them 4/5 stars ⭐️

ALDI's snacks are reasonable and good. When they first came to my area some of their snacks (chips) were not too fresh; they're much better now. Some of my favorites items are their nuts. I buy a lot of walnuts. Their price was $6.99 for the 16 oz bag, which is a good deal. Last year's holiday season the price was dropped to $4.99 but they were sold out when I went. I did the survey and told my experience. A few months into the new year I noticed the price was $4.99 and is still $4.99. Lately, any time I go for my walnuts, they are $4.99 for the 16 oz bag. I stock up when I'm running low. I'm not sure if my survey helped but I'm loving the new price.
