The Wilderness Resort theme meal with Grumpy/Doopy is AMAZING. It’s a high quality 4 course meal. Fantastic food. Lovely setting. The Evil Queen actress we had was fully committed to role and made for hysterical photographs with the kids. Highly recommend.

Pretzel bread pudding was by far our favorite dessert this summer. Then the Disney Parks blog posted a recipe for it and I got to make it for Thanksgiving! Such fun memories🥹

The Cobb Salad at The Brown Derby is a must do for my visits (and the only Cobb I eat anywhere). Also miss the buffet that used to exist at the Polynesian in the 90s.

Just got back from Disney world. The ONLY sit-down restaurant I thought was worth the hype and price was Ohana. We went for breakfast twice. Stitch glomped my little girl and nearly took her to the ground. Ohana - 8/10 and the best character interactions we had Sebastian's - 4/10 for the bread pudding 2/10 without bread pudding 50s Prime Time - 3/10 the roast was dry and was literally smothered with McCormick brown gravy Be Our Guest - 5/10 decent food but way over priced; the grey stuff is actually delicious Also, Disney restaurants abhor salt. Pack some in your bag.

Topolino's Terrace was incredible for food and experience when I went a couple years ago during COVID regulations. Breakfast was all-around memorable (Donald dropped it down low while dancing, then made a show of struggling to straighten up!), and I imagine the character interactions are even better now. Dinner is even more phenomenally gastronomic and expensive lol. 'Ohana breakfast is definitely on my list!

I just want to say when I went last March, the crowd levels in these videos are not what happened in the park! I want a spring roll at the spring roll cart, and there was literally in line of 50 people! Every restaurant was completely booked and if you didn’t have a reservation you better go and stop at McDonald’s we literally ate at McDonald’s three times while we were there because we couldn’t find food! Everyone thought I was crazy because the one day I had to dining reservations at two restaurants but that was the only day that we ended up getting two meals in the park. I was so thankful for genie plus because if it wasn’t for that the lines were insane! We never sat in a line! But you should’ve seen the look that we got when we bypassed everybody, especially when there was a three hour line for slinky dog 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

If we wanted to order from the bar menu at Tambu Lounge is there somewhere else, not right at the bar, we could sit to enjoy our food? My 12 year old loves some Ohana noodles and Potstickers and I'm afraid we won't be able to get a reservation at Ohana for our off property cheer trip coming up at the end of April. I love this channel but not everything they love is worth trying. We ate at Ohana in September because the noodles were so hyped on this channel. I must say i was definitely disappointed. They are just ok. The atmosphere and view was amazing & the dessert was great! Very pricey so probably won't go back in the future.

The only good mac & cheese is Homecomin'. I didn't like the Gasparilla Grill version but as a Brit, it should be cheese-based, not butter/cream-based. A second favourite is Polite Pig's mac & cheese side.

You mention the ooey gooey toffee dessert at Liberty Tree Tavern. When I was there last February, with a full crown job partially done, I could not eat anything ooey gooey, hard, chewy, or acidic. I had to meet with the allergy chef at every meal. They fixed me up with something I could eat (basically the vegetarian meal but no salad, since I couldn’t eat raw vegetables), and I had the Johnny Appleseed cake. It’s made using an old colonial recipe and I could even have the caramel topping since in colonial days caramel was always thin and watered down. This was, no kidding, the best dessert I have ever eaten - and I am a chocolate fiend! I highly, highly recommend it.
