Tipp 1: If you have this Telescope buy a 40mm Bresser eyepiece you will get 25x magnification and you can look for Plejade Orion nebula Andromeda Galaxy many deep sky objects can be visible if you like under Bortel level 6. The Moon look much better also with 25x because the other eyepiece are really bad. Tipp 2: Buy a 6,5mm Plössel Bresser eyepiece and you can get 153x magnification. The Bresser eyepieces are good. You can see Mars Polar ice cabs and surface Color. Also with Venus you abel to see he’s Atmosphäre. With 153x you can see Jupiter red Spot. Tipp 3: Don’t buy a Barlow lens, because it’s make anything looks worser. And don’t use a high magnification because the Earth Atmosphäre will make you look bad.

@@IchigoKurosakicool yeah but the eyepiece are needed Bec the other are very bad. I buys the eyepiece and I like them. If I get a new telescope on day I still can use my eyepiece to and don’t need new ones.

Would it be worth getting one of these used for $100? I’m new to all this but want to be able to see Saturn

Hi, what is a better option than this scope? Many thanks

You can add a cheap right ascension motor drive ($50) and an SvBony 705c planetary camera ($380) which will come to prime focus in this scope and using Sharp Cap do some electronic assisted astronomy (take pictures of bright to medium deep space objects).

I've got the 130mm and you can only get the GRS with a webcam stacking video. You can get a table top Maksutov that will show far better views for less than this setup.
