Yeah it's reaaally cute but not the style that I would wear so my brain just started thinking of what I could do with it instead :) On the sleeve it was done with putting a thin elastic on top, but I dunno if it's different than shirring?? or its both? lol

if you still want the orange skirt after thinking about it, you could try to upsize it! you would need more fabric for it tho so i'm not sure how that would go. maybe a cute color-blocking moment i.e. purple waist and the rest of the skirt orange or something like that 🤔. I've been meaning to upsize some skirts for a while now, just need to clean up my craft space to do it 😂

You could probably just seam rip the pockets out of that terrycloth dress and redo the side seams to make it more fitted! As long as you don't care about having pockets anymore lol
