Long road ahead if you're going for 100% solo. You mentioned something about them not adding achievements for the new difficulty... on steam they didn't. There's about I think 20-30 more in-game achievements now for all the new maps and a special new one for Ruthless difficulty too that steam doesn't have. As someone that almost ran 100% steam achievements in a playthrough I did(skipped the achievements that didn't matter), it took me a little less then 230 hours game-play(with all of the knowledge I had prior since it wasn't my first time), just to give you a rough timeframe ^^ Post more DD1 :3

100000000% recommend checking out DD2 and DDA. DD2 is dungeon defenders but mixed with an MMORPG, and while there are WAY too many cosmetics you can pay for, certain heroes are locked behind paywall, and certain QOL features are also paywalled, it is an amazing game. i know i listed a shit ton of terrible features way too common in f2p games, but i believe chromatic deserves it. the game really does a great job as a sequel, plus the MMORPG parts really appeal to me since i love the genre. as for DDA, they did an absolutely terrific job remastering the first game while also adding the "modern" graphics and maps. for DDA definitely check G2A or CDKeys for a cheaper copy, but they are definitely worth playing if you love DD1.
