Another important thing to remember when struggling is grind > all things. Just grinding out a little more XP for some more ascension points can be a considerable power gain! You are going to want to get to Ascension 250 at Chaos 9 anyway, so when you do that grind is up to you!

especially maxing out that defense rate ascension. Makes alot of difference in the early game like that

But what is the best mode to farm xp is it expedition , onslaught or what

From what I remember, it's basically the highest level expeditions you can complete without failing.

My first clears were using poison darts and earthshatters. Petrified kept the berserkers in check making the rest pretty simple. Side note it can be a bit easier now that broad head arrows are a thing

My previous 3 tiers of chaos builds no longer worked on 8, so long range attacks is my take from your video.

Might be worth a mention to consider using the auto-repair & Pylon shards.

I have the dryad as well as the hunter do they have any better towers I should use instead of the ballistas? Or should I just stick to a similar build you have here

Both the Dryad and Hunter have some great defenses. I would say use what you like the most though. As long as you are staying away from the webs and countering the enemies that are present you can use anything you want.

Absolutely nothing I am doing is making a bit of difference. I tried my favorite towers, failed every single time within the first wave, so I tried your exact setup and also failed every single time during the first wave. No fucking idea what the hell to do, and I can't find anyone whatsoever playing chaos 8 in public, so I can't join a random party, and whenever I go to town to look for people, I am always the most advanced player. I am ascension level 476 and still can't fucking beat this damn chaos 8. Can't even get halfway through the first wave. I don't know what the problem is.

STart with shards, make sure you have the correct shards in the correct places!

@@MrJuicebags Like I said, I copied you. I used the same ones I saw you using, including Mass Destruction. I tried swapping out the pathetic barrier that you were using in favor of the far superior Werewolf Commander, but I didn't have enough crap to do that. Just to let you know, I own every character, so if you could suggest any other setup, I am sure I can do it. I don't have every single shard, though I did have the ones you used in the video. But my point was....nothing has worked. Nada. Not even close. And I am way past Ascension 250, so what gives? And how do I stop it from giving?!

@@lexijayden9105 That's wild that you're using the same setup and shards as the video but still can't beat it. Lol. I myself still can't beat wave 1 with chaos 9 gear mass destruction and all. Like what sense does that make?

@@pryncetazze So you are in the same pickle I am in? Yes, I used the same exact shards for the same exact towers, and I still can't do diddley poop. Are you having the same problem with the inability of finding decent players in town? Maybe there aren't as many players since this uploader last played the game because he made it sound like it wouldn't be a problem at all with joining a public party, but that hasn't even slightly worked out for me for this Chaos.

Hey man I hope you’re able to give a few pointers for me. But I have all c10 gear and relics/medallions. But I can’t pass a c9 game! I’m trying to get better shards for my towers by watching your videos. But still lack power in my defenses and my hero’s. So what do you think I should do for my power to everything? Just got to Ascension lvl 3450

Without the proper shards nothing else matters. I would say start there

@@MrJuicebags thanks for the response man. Grinding out shards and looking for better mods for defense and gear. Watched your shard upload and that helps immensely. But any “general” mods I should look for? Or a recent upload of yours I can check out pertaining to my questions? Have all characters but my highest are squire, evo, monk, and the dryad. Average out at 14,000 but have none or not so good mods. And thanks again for the response.

@@MrJuicebags then let’s say I take a c6 mod and put it on a c10 relic. Will the c6 mod sync to progression of the c10 or will it be a c6 mod on a c10 relic.
